QBZ-191 service rifle family

There really is no need to share so many small and grainy photo of the QBZ-191. The rifle is propagating in ever larger numbers, so photos are much easier to come by these days. As a result, you need to be more judicious with what photos you share, because SDF isn't an image aggregation forum. Please share only images that are aesthetically pleasing (i.e. of high resolution and good clarity) or are revealing in some way.

qbu191 with new suppressor

Looks like linear muzzle brake/ flash hider to me.
I’m by no means an expert on these matters, but doesn’t that look a bit too short and narrow to be a suppressor?

having said that, this muzzle device has been in quite a number of pictures of QBU-191 in service, so whatever it is, it’s relatively widespread.
It isn't a suppressor. This is the suppressor:
QBZ-191 silencer (not sure if official choice or just a trial choice)

Source in the Douyin.
In the past, we have seen the muzzle device that you are all talking about and generally agreed that the muzzle device is just a muzzle cap.
