Should 合成团 be translated to synthetic regiment or combined arms regiment?

Also, note regiment in different country means different sized element , I am unsure about where PLA regiment should be placed though the translation is correct.
I am unsure of how many company a PLA regiment holds post reform , it used to be a 9 company , bigger then 2 battalions , but post reform they might just be 7 company reinforced battalion instead of the normal 5.
I want to see a full length handguard without the gas port cut out but I'm sure that would be very difficult.
I think the real question is whether the handguard is properly free floated, specifically whether the front part of the handguard that has the iron sight, physically interacts with the gasport of the rifle. This rifle should have the front torch and top laser removed so we can properly assess it.
If it is free floated, then this should be a good candidate for a potential upgrade kit for troops that can make use of a free floated barrel.
If it isn't, then it certainly looks neat, but may not be worth the upgrade from the standard handguard.
So these wouldn't be free-floating either right? They have those two holes for the iron sights as well.
I don't know, these ones have the holes for the iron sights and an opening for the adjustable gas port, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the handguard and the iron sight interfaces with the gas port.
I'm not sure what the case for the other one is either.
