Thanks for this map!

From transliterating the Chinese Characters on the map, and double checking with this Wikipedia page:

Huaseng (Pearson Reef) = Bisheng (毕生)
Lanchinsazhou (Grierson Reef) = Ranqing ("Sazhou" means "Cay/Reef") (染青沙洲)

The rest seems ok.

Should it be "Shazhou", instead of "Sazhou"??

That's the annoying part of phonetic translation because there is no exact rule so best to check with offical source. Ranqing for example did not have a phonetic translation in the wiki page so I just did it on my on (hence the question marks). The actual wiki page also included voice tones which I did not include in my translation. I think the best best is to also put up Chinese name spelled with Chinese characters beside the English name, then you can also also choose to put up the phonetic translation.

And yes Huaseng is actually Biseng, which made more sense with the English name Pearson. I was taught traditional Chinese, so simplified 华(Hua) and 毕(Bi) looks similar, especially when looking at small jpg letters.

Occupation/administration state:
Yellow: Philippines, Purple Vietnam, Red China, Orange Brunei, Green Malaysia, White Indonesia.

We see here most of the occupation is by Vietnam. But all SCS dispute news focuses on China.

Yes, indeed! The correct pinyin should be "Shazhou".

Judging by the maps, it does appear as if Vietnam has reclaimed more area overall when compared to other nations including China. However I think the reason as to why China has gotten more news and rebukes than Vietnam and the other countries is because the islands that China is building are bigger than all the other islands built by the other countries.

Yes, and if Vietnam could do the same, they would. In fact they started reclaiming earlier.

Did they just build a runway on Mischief within a month? First photo is around Sept 8 and the speculation was on the northern side of the reef. But latter photo seems to match the western side of the reef. It doesn't look like Subi and definitely not Fiery.

The Chinese are known to build most buildings, structures etc. in quick time. Reliability/Sturdiness? Well sometimes a problem. Runway - I don't thinks a problem as China has a hard-working/conscientious workers.
