Hey, hey, hey. Who are we saying it's over the top, garish? It's just a hotel, within a theme park, situated inside an aircraft carrier. That's all!

I agree, its supposed to be fun, and I hope all your gentlemen get to experience something like this with your families!

I've seen some pretty well designed apartments in Beijing, but generally speaking the wealthy in China have very garish and overladen tastes...they should take a cue from HK and Japan and be more minimalist.

They should go back to find inspirations from their roots because traditional chinese building and interior designs are actually quite nice. I think it's partly a case of people in the land of apples want to try out some oranges. But I digress.

Ok, back on topic. To get the juices going, here's a collage of fifteen J-15 Flying Shark pictures for the Liaoning.

One day, in the not too distant future we will see six or more of these aircraft on the Liaoning's deck, then followed by eight, then twelve, and ultimately twenty.

Is it official announcement???

No, it's my visual ID. WS-10's exhaust is characterized by fewer and relatively shorter turkey feathers on the exterior portion of adjustable convergent/divergent nozzle. AL-31 is characterized by long turkey feathers similar in length to the base diameter of the nozzle.

Also, the nozzles on the 554 seem to have an separate inner nozzle. I am almost certain AL-31's nozzle does not have that.

Both photos Chuck pulled out were WS-10s.

Yes, both aircrfat shown have the WS-10 installed and IMO both even show the same aircraft, namely # 554 !

To admit I was surprised to notice, that it seems to be much easier to change the AL-31F and WS-10 in a Flanker since we noticed # 554 flying at first with the AL, the WS and later - during the carrier trials - again with the AL-31.
