Under $150 million agreement, Russia to provide China liscense to assemble TU-22M3 bomber.
under the aggreement, excluding the engine,China will produced important component.
PLAAF will also import (or lease?) 6 TU-22M3 from russia .allowing the chinese ground crews to familiar with the aircraft.
the first production batch quoted at 12 aircrafts, second batch at 24.total 36 aircraft.

Can you provide the source of this story. This forum has already discussed the possibilty of such an agreement but concluded that China's interest had cooled.
The Tu-22M intermediate bomber was out of production in 1993
Does this include the M3 ? If so isn't that a long time to then restart production?

My Friend,

This is a white elephant that no one wants it.

China really don't need it.

Well, so far as I can remember, Challenge has just come back for a vocation for one week due to unlink post. Today he does the same thing though a link is added later on. I think such a report is too much unreliable especially when it mentioned China has imported 6 BackFire before. Anyone familiar with sinodefence would know that Russia intended to sell these BackFire back to Peace-Mission 2005, however, China wasn't interested. In fact, China was more interested in the newly produced Su-34. No one did mention about any possible deal so far.

Challenge's usual reference is from the bullshit forum like the bbs.wforum and the strategypage. so there really is no need to pay heed to such nonsense until, unless some reputable sites or official statement are released.

The real question is why are we still commenting on such b.s.?

I suggest that a mod close this thread. Having such topics will tarnish Sinodefence's reputation.
