To add on to that, when fighting in the first island chain China will have the support of underwater infrastructure for ASW, something that western media likes to ignore when claiming that their nuclear submarines will have free rein within the first island chain.

Btw looks like she's using the hull of a Type 901 AOE...?

The similarities to 901 struck me too, especially the bow and new bridge design. But I am unsure, it could be that they just use similar design approaches. Overall dimension align more or less (a little shorter than 901 but I think very similar beam).
