Here more … but do we have any info when these images were taken? IMO it looks quite recent. Even more do they show foreign pilots being trained in China or are these foreign pilots working in China to train PLAAF pilots?

Another possibility is that, as a long‑standing practice, the PLA provides flight‑training aircraft opportunities to foreign military attachés stationed in China who need to maintain their flight credentials.

Unlikely ... IMO impossible!

But here is more: as a title I only found "透過南非試飛學院TFASA進行訓練" roughtly translated as "Training through the South African Flight Test Academy (TFASA)".

JSDF released information today on a formation of PLAAF aircraft transiting the Miyako Strait in the early hours of December 29th, 2025 which also happen to be the first day of Justice 2025. Formation consisted of two J-16, two Y-9 based ELINT, two H-6 and more interestingly two "Unidentified PLAAF fighter".

H-6Ks were seen carrying AKD-20s and J-16s seen with a loadout of PL-15s and PL-10s.
