No.12 KJ-500 under the PLA Eastern Theater Command, suggesting that its serial number is 30172:

Interesting since these two-digit numbers were indeed a mystery to me. However they are surely not 30172, since they are from the Naval Aviation.
As such it could be a KJ-500H from the 1st Naval Aviation Division at Shanghai with former the number 81112.
