In the Arab media it's said a lot that's an opening to cooperate more with China, nevertheless, the door was already open and they didn't need Pakistan. Maybe they want to do some deals and Pakistan is a 3rd party in the deal to offset USA's pressure?
Nevertheless Pakistan as an important ally for China, can also ease the ability of the Gulf to use Chinese systems, like helping them in training their air force to use Chinese systems.
China can already do that, but Pakistan can be willing to deploy their air crews in their countries for instance, especially when there's a conflict...etc.
So I don't think it's affect their relation with China directly, but it'll reduce USA leverage on them, which is very beneficial for China in general. So the USA leverage is not reduced by a lot yet, but it's a good step.
