Question for more knowing folks about this possible deal for J-35, KJ-500, HQ-19, has there ever been the case in the past where the pakistani government (strictly the government, discounting any rumours/unofficial sources) made public offers on various chinese weapons systems that did not materialized in firm contracts/ deliveries? I see some argue that since at present it's only an offer it doesn't necessarily means it's a done deal, so trying to find out about such instances in the past.
Very rarely, By the time its told to the public its usually something they have already talked it over, its especially true if they(forces) reallly want it.
But apparently Pakistan PM/FM is apparently going to visit China in june/july so maybe we will find out some more details by then?

Hi,
getting J35 with PL17, means PAF is foreseeing another kind of skirmish within some
years and still want to remain in their own border while firing network centric missile
towards the IAF oncoming R37M upgraded MKIs, or may be india in a rush instead of
upgrading their MKIs go for a squad of SU35 with R37M in hand asap, obviously within
couple of years 2/3 years by the time PAF can also or about to get the same missiles with
stealth fighters and for these fighters better is KJ500 instead of Erieye awacs
thank you

I don't think India will go for Su-35, doesn't make much sense. Upgrading the avionics of Su-30MKI with indigenous subsystems like AESA is probably likely.

India also has several A-A missile programs under development like the STAR, Astra later variants. It's possible Russia gives some stocks of R37M and it even gives some ToT.

Can we stop spreading this BS as if it is a given fact?

So far there is a an official confirmation that Paksitan got an OFFER for about 40 J-35A, but neither a date is mentioned, they are not built yet and even more so far NO CREDIBLE source ever mentioned the PL-17, we don‘t even have a hint the PL-17 can be carried“!

As such stop thsi nonsense by discussing war-scenarios against the IAF and similar wet-dream-like considerations with R-37M, that cannot be carried anyway.

Pakistan’s Fifth-Domain Weapon: The Strategic Role of PAF Cyber Command in Modern Warfare

Cyberspace as a Battlefield

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Cyber Command is a dedicated military unit designed to:

  • Secure and control cyberspace as a critical operational domain.
  • Protect military digital infrastructure including:
    • Fighter aircraft data links
    • Radar and sensor networks
    • Satellite communications
    • Command-and-control systems
  • Serve both defensive and offensive roles in digital warfare.

Offensive Capabilities in Real Conflict

In past engagements, particularly against India, PAF Cyber Command has shown its ability to disrupt enemy operations without physical confrontation.

Key Achievements Include:

  • Radar and Communication Disruption
    • Jamming of Indian Air Force (IAF) radar systems.
    • Disruption of encrypted communication between IAF aircraft and ground control.
  • Surveillance Penetration
    • Infiltration of Indian military surveillance systems.
    • Unauthorized access to real-time video/audio feeds from key installations.
    • Monitoring of Indian command briefings and troop movements.

Impact on Operational Readiness

Cyber Command executed precision strikes to impair logistical and operational capacity.

Consequences of Cyberattacks:

  • Power Grid Attacks
    • Targeted Indian military-linked energy infrastructure.
    • Caused temporary blackouts at forward airbases and logistics hubs.
  • Disruption to Military Operations
    • Delayed aircraft maintenance and fuel resupply.
    • Disrupted base functionality during critical early conflict hours.
    • Synchronized with conventional military maneuvers for maximum strategic effect.

Future Outlook: Cyber Command in Integrated Warfare

PAF Cyber Command is expected to play a pivotal role in future multi-domain operations.

Projected Strategic Functions:

  • Space and Satellite Warfare
    • Neutralizing enemy surveillance satellites.
  • Defense System Disruption
    • Attacking automated defense and early-warning systems.
  • AI Integration
    • Coordinating cyber operations with AI-enabled platforms for real-time, cyber-kinetic warfare.

Conclusion: A Growing Cyber Deterrent

Pakistan’s investment in cyber capabilities signals a shift in military strategy where:
  • Data and information are as vital as kinetic firepower.
  • Cyber Command stands as a central pillar in Pakistan’s modern defense doctrine.
  • A credible cyber deterrent is being built to ensure digital superiority cannot be assumed by any adversary.
