As long as there's no war, China can win in the end in the tech race.

We should all do our part as overseas Chinese in protecting the livelihood of the Chinese people.
Hi localizer,

The pain for China high tech company will be huge in the short term, 1-2 years, but after that they will recover, what im afraid is the foreign market that will be lost, mid tier tech will be sold to developing countries, but for leading edge their will be no market. I think that is the purpose of the tech ban is to impede China tech develop for 1 or 2 generation behind , its a subtle form of protectionism, since they cant compete tech and price wise.

As a matter of curiosity, I wonder, in regards to the leading edge tech, assuming that the world is really going into a depression (mostly the USA and other countries like India/UK/etc) given the current chaos in the USA right now, who on earth will be around to buy that particular tech since most of the people who could've afford those kinds of goods are not going to be around to do so again in 2 years time due to having no job so maybe mid tier tech might be all they can hope to get if they are lucky
