byd was 3rd highest selling BEV company in Ireland in January
it was second highest in HK in January, still behind tesla

Japanese news report about BYD. BYD has set up 50 dealerships across Japan. Goal is 100 by the end of 2025. They point out that Japan is the only country outside of China where BYD actually manages the dealerships directly rather than distribute the vehicles through a 3rd party. BYD Japan president explains it's because they are taking the Japanese market especially seriously and want to gain the most amount of information possible and provide customers with the highest level of customer service they can due to the brutal competition in Japan for foreign automakers.
They need to sell Denza luxury vans and super cars like U8 and U9 in Hong Kong soon.
