Volkswagen is trying and doing fairly well, so not all of them have given up on EVs, far from it. Battle.is never won until the end. So we shouldn't call off the game before seeing the end.GM and almost all western automakers have scaled back their EV ambitions. They are giving up to Chinese companies. GM is not offshoring this plant, they simply see no future in EV delivery vehicles.
