Both Ineos and Jaguar are using iCar platforms to save their failing EV projects.

Like I said, you just love to comment on things you know nothing about. Geely and others are the one that started the price war.Seems I was right afterall, even BYDs executive Stella Li is admitting that this silly price war is a race to bottom which isn't good or sustainable not just for BYD but for every other Chinese brands and the Chinese EV industry. If they continue like that, then I'm afraid its a matter of time for the industry to go into a dangerous path and lead to the bankruptcy of even the competitive innovative EV companies.
Im,glad the government has called for stop of this price wars. They can compete on other sectors like car designs, customer after sales service, product differentiation etc etc.. Prices are already low enough, there shouldn't be anymore price cuts, else it becomes unsustainable and eats into the already thin profits margins of companies.
@tphuang whats your view on this?
I don't think I ever said BYD was responsible for the price war? I just said the price wars among Chinese EVs companies is not sustainable. I never called out a single company. Since I don't know who really started it. I'm just looking at the bigger picture and making an observation. I believe its a good thing the government is getting involved?Like I said, you just love to comment on things you know nothing about. Geely and others are the one that started the price war.
Aren’t you a market economy guy? Switching to communism now?I don't think I ever said BYD was responsible for the price war? I just said the price wars among Chinese EVs companies is not sustainable. Maybe, they need gov approval for purchases..Is there concern that foreign car companies will snatch up Chinese IPs and assets on the cheap during consolidation to close the EV gap?
