Frankly, this is just a list put together by third party analyst. BYD intentionally does not say what chips is used for a reason. Cause it doesn't matter.

DiPilot-100 can use J6M, Orin N, Black sesame or internally designed

DiPilot-300 can use single Orin X or double J-6E and presumably internally designed (in the future)

DiPilot-600 can use double Orin X or J-6P.

And Black Sesame is also possible for 300 and 600.

This is like the worse anti china or anti byd comment. Not everything has to be 100% domestic for people to support it. Otherwise no on would be anything.

Pretty sure Seal 2025 use Journey 6. It is like old news from month ago IIRC.

If you combine the sales of each NEV divisions under their parent companies, then Tesla's sales is ranked only at 5th or so.


Leapmotor (a partner of Sellantis) B10, a compact global battery EV, looks good (images below). It has a starting price of less than $20,520 in China, even with LiDAR.

Yeah, but China always has its highest selling month in December, so that doesn't really count.

Many models that weren't announced on Monday will get their own launch events soon. N7 new models coming on 18th.


Horizon Robotics announced it is supplying BYD with its J6 series of chips. Also, BYD placed large orders with Nvidia, Hesai and Robosense. Both HR & NVDA got > 1 million chip orders. BYD has huge cost advantage over competitors.

Not sure which media you are referring to exactly, but I have seen a few headlines about growth slowdown, which is perfectly possible alongside huge absolute sales numbers.
