Not sure this is true but was she invited to China because if she was, she would have gotten some kind of welcome, I mean Baerbock got a shocking reception when she went to the G20 this year, but she got something but it seems like Ursula got into the China almost like a thief in the night hence no reception and now it seems like she is a sore thumb that seems to remind China of the empress dowager who is another hated figure that reeks of the elite class to the extreme but really Ursula really is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Seems to be only their to spoil things for the USA, nothing more
The newsletter is not the usual invitation

China is moving towards building its own undersea internet cable system as the US smears sand fabricates lies to force other countries to deny China undersea cable projects. BTW, HMN Tech one of the biggest undersea cable fiber optic companies in the world was owned by Huawei before Huawei selling it but it still got sanctioned by the US.

"China" will destroy all their own cables once conflict starts. And then we're going to hear a reputable award winning journalist claim that the empire did it.

Trying to ask how it doesn't do "x" for a Neural Network ML model is like asking why a calculator doesn't output cannot calculate for dividing 1/0 and outputs inf.
You apparently did not do home work before you speak. Your windows based calculator is able to tell that zero is not a divisor. So expecting ChatGPT to say "I don't know" is the least to ask considering its computing power and sophistication of coding.

Judging by casualty ratios, they could roll through in 2022 as well, if Russia had committed the whole air force and army.

The problem is what happens afterwards when an equally sized NATO volunteer army and US air force hits the overextended Russian occupation regions. Probably a complete collapse back to the Dnieper at best and Crimea at worst.
They could have captured more cities in 2014 but Russian society simply not ready for sanctions and prolong confrontation with West. It takes years to conditioned a society in particular directions. there was youtube video i saw Russian selling German vehicles like MB G SUVs in Armenia. these kind of people can easily afford not to sell but they may want to get rid of it.
than the key requirement is Arab wealth and Ideology every thing else is secondary. This looks like simple car buying video from UAE from one of Russian influencer but once you understand it from Arab perspective it is more sinster. this is called reserve currency that does not need bank. Those Turkish drones will prove very costly for ukraine. Europe will need to learn from Japan.

It's not all white and black either. If client states such as France can give tangible benefits to China, then these benefits were real, even if they don't come with an official declaration of independence or move to China's bloc.

There's no point in not doing diplomacy with them, none of these deals have ever shown to have hurt China, otherwise, the economy wouldn't be booming and Beijing wouldn't be the biggest economy.
Yes of course; if he is here to bring benefits to China, then we will take those transactional deals. That is the same with every country and that is how China advances. I am not saying to show him the door just because he's not fervently anti-Western and Pro-China; I'm saying not to give him any extra credit, special treatment or brownie points just for him being soft-spoken. Deal with him as his actions deserve, not as his words request.
Well... Macron did bring a big business delegation with him and signed many cooperation agreements.
Yes, Macron will go back and sign onto the anti-China G7 or Nato statements but honestly he has no choice because if he resisted the entire Western media would mobilize against him, and probably a good part of the French political establishment would actively criticize him for undermining trans-atlantic unity. There's only so much a single man can do, and although I believe Macron is sincere in wanting better relations with China, I do think he's a weak leader ultimately.
Yes, he has no choice, many excuses. The result is that the majority of French actions will be in line with US/Western interests against Chinese interests. It doesn't matter if he wanted to or didn't want to. Actions shape the world, not secret desires. So treat him like any other Western leader who comes; take the deals that benefit us and reject everything else. Just another turd but covered in flowers and watches. Don't elevate him because he speaks nicely and and don't castigate him for it either. Just another turd.

No country "under any circumstances" can deploy nuclear weapons on foreign territory, French President Emmanuel Macron said at a joint press conference with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Meanwhile, the United States keeps 100 tactical nuclear weapons in Europe and Turkey. Charges with a capacity of 0.3 to 50 kilotons for B61-3 and B61-4 bombs are stored at six bases in five NATO countries – Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey.

Lukashenko responds to Macron's statement that no country can deploy nuclear weapons in the territory of another country: "I agree with him. This is why Americans should remove all the nuclear weapons from five or six countries where they are deployed."
