I think he means that there are 1.5 million Chinese people in Canada.
I wouldn't discount Chinese talent in athletics just yet. While basketball is heavily dominated by certain demographics, there are other sports that do have Chinese heavyweights. I would keep an eye on OFSAA competitive swimming in the coming years. Track and field and gymnastics also seem to have great showing from Chinese athletes.

I am not as optimistic on the outcome - I think Anglos will only get progressively more hateful & angry instead of going Voltaire's way.
This actually reminds me of Voltaire's famous quote "one must cultivate one's own garden" i.e. one must focus on improving one's own little world without worrying too much about the outside world if one wants peace of mind and self-development.
Instead, today's Europeans pursue Borrell's "we are a garden and the rest of the world is a jungle" philosophy where they focus less on self-improvement and more on controlling and subjugating the outside "jungle".

Once China regains the rightful place they will change their tune. We have historic precedence for this. Behold Voltaire, one of the key thinkers whose work led to the creation of Western Democracy.

Personally, I have no doubt that China's socialism and meritocracy will beat US' oligarchy masquerading as "democracy" hands down.

Lol, anything to prove that the ethnic Chinese in Canada are around 1.5m high?

Cuz that's very much bullshit lol, unless you meant female, but even then, it's likely higher.
Height is strictly related to nutrition. No way ethnic Chinese are that malnourished in Canada.

Regrettable, but also in line with the US' continued attack on China's national security
Nothing will really be accomplished by meeting the lame duck except giving China an excuse to breach Taiwan's 12 nautical-mile-line.

LMAO

Well, the Germans are pragmatic and don’t want NSA snooping around.

Oh my God, this is unhinged! It's like giving NAFO and the people behind Myrotvorets legislative power.

Oleksii Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDC), has announced 12 steps for the liberation of Crimea. The criminal terrorist Kiev regime makes no secret that it is preparing for purges, arbitrary executions, terror. They want to punish the "disloyal" Crimea and Donbass peoples.

This is just pure Nazism, genocide, ethnic cleansing and idiocy:

They have to get the power first.

It's not about discounting talent, it's just quite obvious that there is some kind of "special sauce" missing.

If we look at the former Yugoslavia, there is a very steady trickle of NBA-quality (ie getting regular minutes) players, and occasionally Hall of Fame-level players. How can China not produce any players of even just the former-type in decades with the enormous talent pool it has? As I said, it somewhat defies statistics...

I imagine the same such issue exists for soccer/football.

In the Sports thread it was discussed that parents are wary of the Sports academies having a bad academic reputation, so if things don't work out athletically, they are afraid of handicapping them for university. To alleviate this concern, more after-school clubs are being established, but it is a fairly recent phenomenon. Even then, parents are concern with spending so much time "playing games". I am not familiar enough to elaborate further on this topic though.
