Also remember. During late July, a few days after Baykar said they will never will never sell drone to Russia. There were these reports…

According to CNN Turk, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told colleagues at a top party meeting on Monday that Putin had approached him during a recent meeting in Tehran to suggest a deal with Turkish firm Baykar to produce its attack drones, which have proved effective against Russian forces in Ukraine.

Russia, UAE mulled to be eyeing co-op with Turkish drone maker Baykar

Russia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are said to have expressed interest in working with Turkey on the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), reports said Tuesday.

Russia's President Vladimir Putin reportedly told his Turkish counterpart President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan that his country was interested in cooperating with Baykar, the developer of the most famous Turkish combat drone, Bayraktar TB2.

This was reportedly discussed during a meeting of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) late Monday.

Who do I trust. CNN claiming “sources” from people close to the government a week before or Straturka asking their local customer support of a turkish defense company for their opinion.

What do you expect from the turkiye president that only knows how to run his mouth and blackmail weak EU nations using refugees he created himself together with his prized ally USA?

2nd most embarrassing regime in the world only behind India imo. Imagine your head of state having to make up claims, like a watermelon seller at a bazaar, just to try and peddle your drones which are only used by cheap nations that can't afford Chinese or American ones.

The new moon manned space mission by U.S. NASA mission called Artemis will be launched this Monday, Aug. 29, 2022 with launch time at 08:30 hrs E.S.T.

This is a big deal and I for one eagerly awaits and hope for a mission success for NASA because any setbacks or failure will make the country more insecure against China's owned burgeoning space missions and ambitions propelling the already intense rivalry between these two great countries even worse.

It's highly important for this scientific with huge geopolitical development to be posted on this thread.

Here's a good description of Artemis program from WSJ

And from ABC News (U.S. entertainment channel) talking about their coverage of this upcoming big deal event.

America gun problem will explode when USD starts becoming worthless soon... Given how many have guns, when they see their jobs getting canned, 401k going to zero, losing their homes, cars, bank accounts, etc... social security going bust, this will push many if not most Americans over the final edge once they have nothing left to lose is when they "lose it" all.... If they started going door to door to confiscate all guns now, its going to trigger civil war too... no easy way to solve this problem

, the clear favourite to become Britain’s next prime minister, told the penultimate Conservative leadership hustings on Thursday that “the jury is still out” on whether the French president was “friend or foe”.

If France and Britain “cannot say whether they are friends or enemies – and that is not a neutral term – then we are headed for serious problems”, the French president said.

Macron accused Turkey – alongside with Russia and China – of building certain “activist networks” that supposedly pursue a “neo-colonialist” and “imperialist” agenda while spreading “anti-French propaganda” and portraying Paris as an “enemy” of Africa.

The Turkish ministry called accusations leveled by Macron “most unfortunate” and “unacceptable,” adding that the French president apparently “has difficulties in confronting his colonial past in Africa, especially in Algeria.” France seeks to deal with this matter by accusing other nations of some malicious activities, the ministry’s statement added.

Paris should deal with its own colonial past instead of throwing accusations at other nations, Ankara said

The statements French President Macron made this week during his visit to Algeria demonstrate not just the fact that France had apparently failed to face its own colonial past but also his own “distorted mentality,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a damning statement over the weekend. The angry reaction was sparked by Macron accusing Turkey of spreading “anti-French propaganda” in Africa.

Well, you do have Macron waving magnanimously to these booing Algerians (during his recent visit to that country) as if he was hearing Vive LA France!! Or we love Macroni!!

The source is from reddit but the content of the footage speaks of the French leaders disconnect to their historical crimes and present context as a fading power with dark colonial past.
