Its very easy to pose as a zootopian cowboy hanging a gun belt 90 degree up their azz, its a different thing to stand ground in a firefight when bullets are flying towards you.
Gun culture doesnt make a soldier.
Its the same type of thinking right-wingers have when buying guns and getting gun training, that they'll be able to somehow fend off an entire army armed with heavy armaments when the government suddenly executes Order 66. This would just make them liabilities and a danger not only to themselves but also others, like we've seen with Ukrainian civilians doing friendly fire and looting.

Germany-Russia and EU-Russia relations were pretty stable under Merkel's leadership of Europe, and her friendship with Putin essentially safeguarded the stability and prosperity of Europe during her tenure. This is despite the ups-and-downs between Russia and EU, even when the 2014 Russian annexation of Crimea is included into consideration.
Her successor Scholtz, with the Green Party's meddling, and the huge bunch of clowns populating the EU parliament, plus the "support" of Washington DC, has truly thrown everything, i.e. everything she has single-handedly built up for Europe in general, upside-down in just one night.
