Don't worry. This so-called "new cooperation" is merely that Antonov buys semi-finished titanium structures. China is not investing anything, the Ukrainian pay, China deliver, no danger.Should China jump into bed with Ukraine again? Especially after what had happened? I'm not so sure. Unless the "New cooperation" is sweeten.

Well, I dont want to sound like a CIA-lover, but thats their job. Seems like they are doing some "fine" work there. Depending on what happens next, it is likely that the ore project doesnt get implemented thus keeping China depended on Australian ore.Well, CN plan to reduce iron ore import from AU may be in jeopardy
Not trustworthy. Infact some days ago the Ukrainian president was begging for the US to assist it against Russia. Some months ago it was also begging to have a meeting with Biden.Should China jump into bed with Ukraine again? Especially after what had happened? I'm not so sure. Unless the "New cooperation" is sweeten
That reminds me of something I read recently. It says that iron ore import (or domestic production) increases along industrialization, then it will decrease and eventually stop when the country realized industrialization (stop building new bridges, railroad, buildings etc.) At this point, requirement of steel production will consume the recycled steel. All industrialized countries have a comparable steel possession (within the country circulating) per capital. China is getting closer to that point. It seems that Australia just jumped off the last train before the final destination.Already happening, iron ore is around US$135 now from the peak of $233 in May. Brazilian output is back online, production from Sierra Leone and Russia is increasing, at the same time Beijing is calling more use of recycled steel.
