So they want to resume negotiations. If the US is not involved they might achieve something.
However as long as the US military is inside S.Korea and has such a strong influce in the country, it is not on China's interest to make unification happen

Let them. After a peaceful reunification which I hope will happen, all of these submarines shall belong to China. All those fancy new ships and HF missiles shall hopefully also find a new role in the PLAN as the future 'Taiwan Fleet'.
Fun fact is that European companies have supplied dual-use components to China's naval shipbuilders. I've heard of an insider story from an Italian manufacturer of thruster motors. That some of their thruster motors were knowingly supplied to Chinese naval shipbuilders. They just have to spin the paperwork around to make it legal. Of course the vessels' identities were classified. But the Italian manufacturer is required to add-on extra anti-acoustics modifications, and then submit a spectrum test report to the shipbuilder. Its just business, and many European engineering companies don't mind profiteering from the navies of both Taiwan and China. So sometimes, if we go deep into the supply chain of anything, the world doesn't look so straightforward anymore.

How many the poor people in China? Sorry I don't have number. But I believe it won't exceed 100 million even at the worst case scenario. It means there are 1,300,000,000 not poor, some part are very rich, then rich, then middle to ordinary people. Still the absolute number of non-poor people are bigger than Europe.

IMO the most important thing is doing good and even great with one's own domestic development. The rest will come when your country is prosperous, strong and advanced. What other may think or view is not such important. Just set the priority right!
I wonder if Iran is going to accept anything from the USA given the killing of Soleimani and sanctions imposed on Iran which caused much suffering and the fact that the USA did try to prevent Iran from receiving covid assistance
For that reason, Iran shouldn't bother with any dealings with the USA until the USA answers for all these stupid actions done to Iran for the last year. Seriously, given the close relations of Soleimani and the top leader of Iran, really trying to make a deal with Iran now is simply an insult to Iran at this point as this is only because China offered a win win deal to Iran while the USA is being smug in the background thinking no one will help Iran. Hopefully with China's help, Iran will have the capability to really make the USA suffer the consequences because simple renegotiation of the nuclear deal simply wouldn't do because the USA still tried to force Iran to the table unwillingly. Maybe offering Trump and Pompeo to Iran for justice along with multiple concessions might make things slightly more possible, otherwise, no dice.
