Yep. China is going to hit them where it hurts, in their pocket.

Especially the failing EU which is the supposed "human rights defender" and sanctions China for genocide while it quietly takes its money.

Let them make the choice if they want to virtue signal or to make money
white anglo nations and their vassals in western europe are naturally addicted to feeling superior over coloured nations; when this is denied, they suffer the same withdrawal symptoms exhibited by drug addicts. You saw this when the australian prime minister couldn't handle being lectured to by a Chinese artist and had to create a national incident on cameras because his notion of white western superiority was called into question.
Peaceful reunification really only has a chance when China is so overwhelmingly powerful that no country including the US can even credibly pretend that they will fight China over Taiwan. When China has grown to that capacity, then we will see some real prospects of China unifying Taiwan without bloodshed. Before then, there are no prospects of peaceful reunification and it's not a failure in anything; the power dynamic isn't ripe for that move yet. If China needed a reunification now, it would have to do so by war. At best, the conflict will be a brief and effective decapitation of Taipei's forces followed by a blitzkrieg-like invasion and Taipei's surrender after little blood spilled; at worst, it could spiral into a bloody and prolonged conflict involving the US with no appealing endgame in sight and global sanctions on China. Quite frankly, I think this is worth it if it is the only way to unite. However, it is only a backup option if a better option were given and that is that China can push this event into the future where China has displaced the US as the premier power of the world and it gives an ultimatum to Taipei. The US complains but clearly dares not intervene and a sensible Taiwanese leader decides to avoid the bloodshed and pain of an unwinnable war on his people and accepts the ultimatum with promises from the CCP that they will be treated well and the daily lives of the Taiwanese will not be significantly changed. If this doesn't happen in my life, I'm ok with it because it is much better for millions of other Chinese lives across both sides of the strait. I'm not so selfish that I wish to sacrifice their all lives just so I would have an excuse to thump my chest and throw the biggest party in drunken scientist history.
This.

Being taiwanese, I naturally have family in taiwan; if it can be avoided, i'd much prefer peaceful reunification and justice brought to traitors like English vegetable.

See how dumb Asians can be. They think they're different enough for whites to know.

Had to remove my previous post since it was too aggressive but honestly how disgusting and shameful. She is an embarrassment to Koreans and Asians as a whole. I honestly am glad that the current leader of China removed so many white worshippers like them from the government. I strongly believe people like them are the downfall of nations. Traitors should be treated as such and be removed as soon as possible.

Also, did people actually clapped and laughed when she said that? The US will one day have a civil war when the large group of minorities and political groups had enough.

that's fucked, i hear tell the Asian DaHeng tycoons are already moving their family and people out of NYC; fuck that place.

Regarding the Chinese- Iran deal, i wonder sometimes about the mysterious death of Du Wei, the Chinese ambassador to Israel on the eve of Pompeo's arrival in Israel and i wonder if the US and/or Israel had a hand in it.
If so, it'd definitely explain the quick swing to Iran after Anchorage; perhaps Beijing hoped Biden was sincere in repairing ties but when it became apparent that containing china was bipartisan, Zhongnanhai went all in on pushback.

In other news, the Atlantcists/Anglos are pushing for war in Ukraine as their final ace to prevent the completion of NordStream II.

I would have though that Indonesia will be the elder brother for Malaysia. But by calling China as Da Ge, and Wo men shi Yi Jia Ren, that is really something.
Not to be the wet blanket guy, but Malaysia will never call Indonesia elder brother. This is an intra-Muslim brotherhood pride and ego thing. The two had a violent confrontation a few decades ago, called Konfrontasi.

If Malaysia ever called Indonesia elder brother, I would be quite surprised.

Also I would advise not to trust their words. They are two faced creatures, and as an earlier poster mentioned, they once praised China while vilifying Chinese Malaysians. In this case, they're really like Boris Johnson saying he is pro-China. And they teared up the Singapore-Malaysia high speed deal after Mahathir decided he didn't 'feel right' about it. Personally, I would be more wary of them the more they say sweet things about China. It's just that they have a long history of blaming Chinese Malaysians and believe in Malay supremacy (lol) called bumiputera.

I tried to remember what it was Mahathir said, and I found the article. He accused China of colonialism two years ago.

Which is hilarious because if I'm not wrong, four years ago he said China was a benevolent and peaceful civilization with no colonial instincts, opposite of Europeans.

Slimeballs.

Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad has warned against “a new version of colonialism”, in a pointed expression of Asian unease about China’s increasing economic and political influence in the region.

Sery Kim is now claiming she was only talking about the Chinese Communist Party. I didn't know the Chinese Communist Party was emigrating to the US to which in Republican racist terms means any Chinese who doesn't denounce and hate China just like them is a member of Chinese Communist Party. Her Republican handlers are teaching her spin. This is how the Republicans think they can't be racist because they got just one Asian to affirm what they believe so it must be right. Where's that democracy they claim to believe in when they can pick one racist Asian to represent all Asians?

Overall, the relationship is quite complicated. Mahathir disliked Singapore, and that was why the high speed train project was aborted.
He is wary of all big powers, but he was most concerned and hated the Western powers. That was why he had fall out with the Australian and British politicians during his time in 80/90s. He lived through the colonial era and studied medicine in Singapore. He was probably the only ethnic Malay (non strictly true, since his father was an Indian) in his class and this might have bearing on his strong pro-Malay view.

Generally in Malaysia, the ethnic Malays actually respected the business acumen and achievement of the ethnic Chinese but are envious of their success. Mahathir believe that ethnic Malays need to be propped up, otherwise they have no way to compete against the Chinese. So it is not Malay supremacy per se, but a recognition that the Chinese are superior people.

I would use the word jealous and not envious, but yes I do get your line of thought. Also I don't believe that Malays have the 'recognition that the Chinese are superior people'. That's a questionable statement to make... Singapore was kicked out of Malaysia precisely because of the dislike of a majority Chinese state within the Federation.

Anyway these politicians are snake oil salesmen. @ansy1968 is it true that in the Philippines, it is dangerous for ethnic Chinese to walk alone on the streets for fear of mugging and kidnapping?
