And they have the gall to even think about banning iron ore export to China
The arrogance of these convict descendants is repulsive
Yeah, I am getting sick of the leadership in australia right now. Sooner or later, well I am awaiting the day that the west get there judgement and sooner or later, it will be these damn Anglo Saxon convicts that get treat like the scum they deserve. As an ABC I should be talking like this but really after first hand experience to their bullshit, really they do deserve an honest to God copping to the face for once and I still wish for Rupert Murdoch to get the boot

Brexit and Scottish independence required a simple majority though. China required 2/3rd vote to join UN

Yes. And on top of that. In the U.N. a tiny nation like some of the Pacific island who can easily be bought off by certain members get the same voice as China with 1.4 billion people.

As I said, their democracy is how they determined the rules.

Is that any different from fake-Nobel peace prize ‘winners’ or rage and ignorance fuelled Karen’s and Kevin’s getting the same voting power as real Nobel Prize winning scientists?

There were very good reasons why democracy, when it was first invented, limited votes to nobles and leaders rather than having a blanket vote for everyone in town.

Modern western democracy is surprisingly similar to communism in that it looks great in theory, but rapidly becomes fatally dysfunctional in practice.

In the past, western democracy worked better because of the twin engines of capitalism and the threat of the Soviets creating common cause to unit all the feuding and squabbling internal factions.

The challenge of China to the west is that China is out-capitalising the west while having unified purpose and long term consistent planning.

It is a superior system that the west just cannot compete against, which is why they are so desperate to try to destroy China’s system through sabotaging its peaceful economic initiatives, to political destabilisation efforts right to military oppression. All so that they can avoid facing the reality that their much vaunted ‘democracy’ is not the perfect system they pretend it to be, or face the existential moral threat of facing the idea that the white race is not inherently superior to all others.

Lol. I think I heard my tutor said, and I think he was quoting Mark Twain (don't quote me on it, it's from memory from a long time ago).

"That democracy is a precious thing. It's so precious, it ought to be rationed". Lol

So if you ain't got an ounce of the grey matter, you shouldn't be able to decided the future direction of man kind. Love it.

To be fair, this is the intent of the UN, and has worked in China's favor more than once.

That is not a trait exclusive to either western democracy or communism. Everything can look great in theory but fail spectacularly in practice. That's why engineers conduct tests on their designs.

China has not abandoned communism. It has simply realized that communism is something you need to slowly work toward. The primary problem with the West right now is blind ideology. In fact, I would say the entire Western political system is quickly devolving into a giant cult, where no deviation from the catechism is tolerated. If you say the Earth is round when the dogma says it's flat, you get crucified.

Maybe So, but who design the U.N.? A lot of time, it worked very very well for the West. Remember all the "U.N. troops" fighting communism etc. Most of these were "token troops" to say the least.

It's like the WHO. When the design didn't work as intended. And they accused China of hijacking it.

And oh yeah, about communism. When you had it drummed into you for over a century. And who could forget the witch hunt in the 50s. When people can't get jobs because of alleged involvement of being commies. So much for freedom.

And it continues. But it's now even news that get twisted and manipulated. Even old news get recycled. I guess anything that put the good old commies in a bad light can't be all that bad after all.

So an old story from 2012 about a FLG inmate (not verified, and no mention of what he has done) get recycle as news to beat the big bad commies with. And plastered as news in Aus news network. Things must be getting really desperate I guess.

'Horrific torture': Mum finds shocking note in Kmart package

Olivia Lambert

Mon, 15 February 2021, 3:20 am·4-min read

A mum who ordered a box of Halloween decorations from Kmart discovered a disturbing letter inside from a prisoner at a Chinese labour camp.

Julie Keith, from the US state of Oregon, found the letter written by a man named Sun Yi more than 11,000 kilometres away, in a desperate attempt to relieve prisoners of torturous conditions and forced labour.

"If you occasionally buy this product, please kindly resend this letter to the World Human Rights Organisation," Mr Sun wrote

"Thousands [of] people here who are under the persecution of the Chinese Communist Party Government will thank and remember you forever.

"People who work here have to work 15 hours a day without Saturday, Sunday break and any holidays, otherwise they will suffer torture and torment - including beatings and rude remarks."
