This is called hands me down technology . A Jewish President is running around the world asking for weopons and money but Netanyahu does not give him time since it is beneath his stature so he has to delegate often but still he has to keep Zelensky afloat. in return Putin is doing everything to push these muslim countries towards Israel. This is called exchanging Science with Soft Power. Russia science is developing leaps and bounds but that extra edge to Russian muslims inside Russia only gets when Central Asia is integrated with Israel and Royal Kingdoms. i may not have explain this accurately as its very complex topic.
Putin derives his legitimacy from this combination and there many tweets like where Tesla Cyber Truck were parked when Putin was in Astana. or these fighter jets were flying until touch down.

It's all about the money. Singapore gets much more of its money from Western Expats and Chinese diaspora moving money into its country than from China. The Mainland has Hong Kong for international business so Singapore will always remain a 2nd choice for overseas finance and banking for the Chinese.

Singapore's new prime minister recently made some unfriendly remarks, and zaobaosg sharply criticized a Chinese film about overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia.
Singapore's behavior is particularly unusual among Asian countries with large ethnic Chinese populations. Its political stance is also gradually moving closer to that of Taiwan.
Indian immigrants are not the reason for the online criticism in China; it's just that most people believe Singapore's opportunism is remarkably similar to that of Indians.
The big one that soured the mood was when Takaichi basically said Japan would intervene in Taiwan scenario, China reacted strongly with travel advisory, sanctions and diplomatic offensive.

Then a few days later when asked about it, Singapore PM said:
“We hope the two countries will find ways to resolve these very complex issues and move forward. South-east Asia has done that with Japan. It has taken some time, but with the passage of time, with the passing of generations, the feelings are not the same, and we have put the history aside. And we are moving forward.”
PM Wong had noted that surveys have found that Singapore and other South-east Asian countries support Japan playing a bigger role in the region.

“It is quite striking that survey after survey shows that Japan is the No. 1 trusted great power in South-east Asia,” he had said.

“And so Singapore and all the South-east Asian countries support Japan playing a bigger role in our region, including on the security front, because we think that provides for some stability in the region.”

These are the unfriendly remarks I mentioned.
In general, China doesn't expect the Singaporean government to act friendly towards China, but making such ignorant remarks has indeed crossed a line that Chinese people can't accept.
We fully understand that Singapore is walking a tightrope between China and the US for its own interests, but abandoning basic human decency for profit is unacceptable. Huang can represent Singapore in expressing forgiveness towards Japan, but what right does he have to represent the whole of Asia in making these remarks? I even think that the people of Singapore might not support his statements.

What's happening here? They seem to be claiming that 2 Chinese armored vehicles broke down and needed to be pushed in a recent PLA parade in Macau.

I got no idea what is going on, and the internet is slow for me right, so cannot even look at that Twitter post.

All I can say is that Macau is a very small place. I have not been there in 20 years, maybe they built a bigger road, otherwise, not sure how they can drive a APC into the place.

How do you drive a column of APC into Macau? From Zuhai? Or from over that bridge? The government got to close the road, otherwise there will be a massive traffic jam, essentially shutting down the entire economy. LOL!

So the idea of APC on the streets on Macau, for whatever reasons, seem kind of fantastic. So I doubt that happened.

A former environment minister will head up a crowd-funded review of the multi-billion-dollar Aukus submarine deal, Australia's biggest ever defence project.

Peter Garrett, who served as environment minister between 2007 and 2010, said an independent inquiry into the A$368bn ($239bn; £176bn) deal - where Australia will buy second-hand US submarines to replace its ageing fleet - was "long overdue".

Earlier this week, the government detailed changes to the deal, with Australia to buy three second-hand submarines from the US, replacing a former agreement that Australia would get at least one new vessel.

released over the weekend, state police said the remains belonged to Melissa Casias, a 53-year-old resident of Taos, New Mexico, who was last seen walking eastbound along a state highway on 26 June 2025.

A hiker had discovered Casias’s remains in the McGaffey Ridge area of the Carson national forest on 28 May 2026, according to the statement from Saturday.

“Investigators also learned that a handgun was located alongside the remains,” the state police statement said.

It's especially egregious considering what Japan did to the ethnic Chinese in what was then called Malaya was arguably worse than what they did in China. Japan's war crimes against Chinese at least occurred against a backdrop of dogged resistance by both conventional and guerrilla forces, whereas the Japanese massacred Malayan Chinese almost completely arbitrarily after British forces had completely surrendered.
