F..this person. If she wants to end her life, then by all means she should be free to do so. Why does the government need to give her or others contemplating suicide any special credence or support? Not all opinions and needs are created equal—especially not the wish to kill oneself when it is elevated into some noble cause worthy of mass support.Canada will start executing (they call it "assisted suicide") people with mental disorders like bipolar, PTSD and eating disorders at some point within the next year or two. Watch and see.

First cutting yourself from affordable Russian energy, now cutting yourself from China's green technologies at this critical juncture - Eurocrats are geniuses.
China has been talking about retaliation for a long time, but I don’t understand why there is so little reciprocity in response to hostile actions. When responses do occur, they seem sporadic and delayed. Meanwhile, the opposing side continues to act aggressively without facing consequences.

At some point during the Obama pivot to Asia I quickly realised Americans and by extensions the five eyes and the aligned European and Asian nations were behaving and debating in bad faith ie they didn’t respond to logic, fairness or justice but rather sneered in power. Since then, my time on reddit and twitter is entirely dedicated to enjoying the decline of their hegemony. At some point there will be images of a sunk and destroyed US carrier which could well become the banner of every detractor of US imperialism.I only occasionally use Reddit as a tool to proofread opinions. Political topics are extremely sensitive on the Chinese internet, so I sometimes wonder if I'm living in an information cocoon. Sometimes I deliberately look at opposing viewpoints to keep myself grounded.
I enjoy debating with others, not to prove myself right, but to encourage them to use more logical reasoning to change my perspective. Unfortunately, Reddit is practically a haven for the idiots, utterly devoid of logic.

Majorities across partisan groups feel this way, including 81% of Democrats, 68% of independents, and 58% of Republicans.
