China has been talking about retaliation for a long time, but I don’t understand why there is so little reciprocity in response to hostile actions. When responses do occur, they seem sporadic and delayed. Meanwhile, the opposing side continues to act aggressively without facing consequences.

China has already acted, in a way, from receiving massive investments from German firms like the auto makers and BASF, into China the last couple of years, while these same German auto makers and BASF close factories and lay off workers in Germany.

You can't beat that.

German capital is finding ways to flee Germany, come to China, and abandon German workers.

Capital investment creates jobs. Build a new factory, that creates job.

When capital does not invest but flees, then there will be job destruction, sooner or later, that is inevitable.

So, there can only be two ways to interpret all this recent act from the EU.

ONE - they are picking a new fight with China.

or ...

TWO - they are begging for new investment into Europe by European capital, while trying to sound tough.

Either way, I do not believe this is China's problem, because, the capital was alresdy invested in China, from Germany!

However, China has still threaten to retaliate against those hapless Europeans. Haha!

You already got the money, and you will still issue threaten consequences to them if they do that. Haha!

This is just Chinese communist party propaganda.

I did not read the whole article, but just the first parts of it, it was clear that this piece was about making China the victim of suppression attempts from America.

This is stuff I do not like. Because reality, is reality. We should embrace reality and not falsehood.

If we look at trade data, see what kind of electronics and tech China is exporting, and keep tabs on more advanced industries like robotics and the like, we soon know that in most of these so-called high tech industries, or value added manufacturing, China has a monopoly.

See ... in the real world ... it is the monopoly who is usually doing the suppressing. Heh!

But, we have the Americans suppressing China. The same China with these high tech industries, advanced manufacturing (more than everyone else, combined), and supply chain monopolies.

Uh, okay.

If the Americans want to keep playing this America strong and America will suppress China game, the the monopoly side will continue to claim to be the victim, and the monopoly will continue to wallow in it victimhood.

We know, what China really feels, since it is the objection of a suppression attempt. China really feels like saying, screw you, while they count their money.

With the trade surplus at over a trillion, that is exactly what they are doing, except instead of saying F you, they claim to be the victim.

The monopoly claims to be the victim! While they count their fucking money! $1 trillion USD trade surplus. Never seen in the history of the world! Haha! Haha!

That is absolutely great propaganda!

Chinese propaganda is top notch. Do not let anyone else tell us otherwise.

Unfortunately, Reddit is practically a haven for the idiots, utterly devoid of logic.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

I actually wrote a short post, but decided not to post it, because Reddit is full of idiots. We do not know who in this forum frequents Reddit.

So I did not post, because did not want to offend anyone.

Only visited Reddit four to five times in my entire life. Same impression every single time. Full of idiots. It is like a convention for idiots.

Visiting reddit for gamers info is ok provided you don't try to engage in conversation which will inevitably lead to a bitch fest. But visiting reddit for politics is simply asking for an idiot fest that will not end because most of the time, those moderators are stupid on principle
