Trump is lying about the blockade. China has restarted selling diesel and aircraft fuel to other countries like Australia. Does that sound like a country Trump cut-off from oil? Meanwhile I think it was Lufthansa that’s cutting 2000 flights because of air fuel shortages while China is adding 200 flights to Europe. Europe and China have similar oil import dependencies. Does China sound like it’s on the verge of collapse because it’s running out of fuel? It’s just more delusion for MAGAts to masturbate each other on.
If Chinese oil supplies were in a scenario of constraint. China wouldn’t have marginally restarted fuel exports and neither would have issued an injunction to publicly support sanctioned domestic refineries. Policy decisions have been thought out and planned before implementation. Does it make sense that China would restart fuel exports if they are expecting a supply crisis a few weeks later?

Okay, uh, the booze is wearing off.
Been watching TikTok, and seeing a few medical tourism videos. That was kind of new. Mr Walmsley told us about it, how people were travelling to China to seek medical treatment.

Every time you see Western politicians blame China, they’re covering up how they failed their own people. How can China do all this when the Western democratic system is superior?
Look how Trump has claimed he saved and made $17 trillion for the US in the one year he’s been in office. If true where did that money go while he’s cutting off stuff like health care from Americans? Why is he demanding more money from taxpayers to pay for his war with Iran. It’s going directly into the pockets of the rich including himself. Now Trump wants the US taxpayer to pay for his $400 million ballroom when he said it was being paid by private donors. He’s not even using any of that $17 trillion he supposedly saved Americans. How do you cover that up? By blaming someone else like China. Then you have how the US has conditioned Americans so much to think how much superior their system is to everyone else’s that they can’t admit any faults. Do you call that a superior system? Yeah one that knows how to steal everyone else’s money and call it legal.
The foundation of white supremacist beliefs is believing they have better lives than anyone else. That’s how they justify imposing themselves on to everyone else because they supposedly know better. Look at how they argue slavery was the best thing to ever happen to Africans. They’re covering up a crime by claiming the result was better than what they had before.
I remember reading an article about how India surpassed the US in being the second largest telecom market in the world. India has over a billion people over the US’s measly 300 million. So naturally that was going to happen but if you saw the comments, it was taken like as one of the most offensive and sensitive assaults ever that India supplanted the US on anything. And China was number one… Their white supremacist sensitivities are so delicate they can’t even let India just have more cell phone users than the US. And of course it would be different if it was some Westerner who was making all the money from it.
They can’t let India have something so innocuous as second largest telecom market, what else will make them go nuclear? That’s why they’re suffering from China derangement syndrome. China isn’t Western. They cannot allow China to seem better at anything… in the slightest. That’s why in the rarest of most circumstances Democrats and Republicans can agree on China like no other issue not because they want to believe they both are the cosmic balance that when they agree, there’s peace in the universe and no one has the right to challenge it but because it simply shows that the West is all about white supremacy and nothing else.
There’s already rumblings of taking actions against China to not make it an alternate to the West in just the health care of their own people. They just will rather let their own citizens die than have them go to China to resolve heath issues that the Western system can’t handle. Yes they hate it when non-westernized countries have anything better than they do. What truly makes them barbarians is when they’ll sacrifice their own people just to cover that up.
That’s why don’t mistake Western human rights advocacy as how much they care for others than themselves. No, it’s about establishing how others treat their own so they can vilify them thus they have the justification to act against for their own interests like saving white supremacy. Genocide in Gaza proves how they don’t care when it’s one of their own committing the crime. That’s my goto response now to expose Western hypocrisy. I recently had a response to that crying how could I blame Europe for what Israel is doing? I responded, “You mean like how the West wants to punish China because Russia invaded Ukraine?” The West will create this elaborate web just to blame someone to hold responsible but when it comes to their responsibilities, they suddenly become stupid at how they’re not responsible. Even in the US you hear those that don’t see any blame on them for what Israel is doing despite how it wouldn’t be happening at all if it weren’t for the US. Yeah just like how they blame China for Ukraine just for China doing nothing.

Yeah sure, China is so short of crude to feed its refineries its holding record amounts of it in tankers at sea. Not to mention it’s 1.4bn barrels of oil in its strategic reserves.
China’s refining capacity is around 14.75m barrels a day, so it would take the entirety of Chinese refining capacity more than 3 months to refine just its onshore strategic reserves with zero additional domestic production or pipeline supply from Russia.

You are talking as if China itself isn't the 4th largest oil producer in the world while buying up the bulk of Russian/Brazilian/ROW supplies. Gas prices are coming down in China, and if there is a chain of nations being starved of fuel, China will be pretty close to the end of the list.
Also, if the sailors are starving to death in the Gulf, there'd be Tiktok/insta/Twitter posts long before that happens. Look at what's happening right now in the US Navy. Things are so dire that OPSEC are being completely ignored. Meanwhile civilian sailors are silent while being starved to death?
I do wonder if the poster is from the other Asian superpowa. What he is describing certainly seem plausible over there.

How do you even starve to death from not eating for a month? I did a 25 day water-only fast (and some electrolytes like salt so i didn’t feel dizzy all the time) a couple of years ago and I wasn’t even carrying crazy amounts of fat to absorb at the time (190lbs and 6 feet tall. Lost around 20 lbs but I was no where near danger levels to my health)
It's likely Xi will meet with Takaichi in November. China is host nation for 2026 APEC leaders summit in Shenzhen, so China cannot not invite Japan's leader to APEC summit.
Just like how Xi Jinping met with Shinzo Abe in 2014 APEC leaders summit in Beijing after frozen relations after Japan nationalized Diaoyutai/Senkaku islands. The meeting required months of intense, back-channel diplomacy to navigate the diplomatic standoff. They still met, and arguably Diaoyutai/Senkaku was way more inflammatory with mass anti-Japanese protests across many Chinese cities and rare earth ban too. Whether Takaichi sends a representative in her place or not depends on the outcome of Xi-Trump detente and whether Takaichi feels Trump abandons her over Taiwan. I predict she will grovel to Xi in November and request a meeting with Xi on sidelines.
