Just to let you know, the war is inevitable as climate change got worsen. India will side anyone who will fight china no matter how restrained china is.
China won't give up south tibet like they intended in the past as it's future water for Chinese in northwestern half of region which is nessity of national survival when climate change got worsen.
So rather use chance to weaken them. This is really zero sum game and there's no win win solution for this
They can either spend a little on Chinese desalination and AC while getting richer or try to invade over the tallest mountains against a superior military.

Doesn't matter either way honestly.

China hits EU dairy products with provisional duties up to 42.7%

China will impose provisional duties of up to 42.7 per cent on certain dairy products imported from the EU after concluding the first phase of an anti-subsidy probe widely seen as retaliation for the bloc’s electric vehicle (EV) tariffs.

The tariffs will range from 21.9 per cent to 42.7 per cent, although most companies will pay around 30 per cent, and they target products like milk and cheese, including the iconic French blue cheese Roquefort. Duties will start being collected on Dec 23.

China’s Ministry of Commerce said it had found evidence that EU dairy imports were subsidised and hurting Chinese producers.

The European Commission, which oversees EU trade policy, said the investigation was based on “questionable allegations and insufficient evidence” and called the measures “unjustified and unwarranted”.

It already lodged a complaint at the World Trade Organization more than a year ago. “Right now, the commission is examining the preliminary determination and will provide comments to the Chinese authorities,” a spokesperson said, noting that the investigation was set to conclude by Feb 21.

The Dec 22 decision is provisional and could be revised when a final ruling is made. China significantly lowered provisional tariffs on pork in its final decision last week.

Trade tensions with the EU erupted in 2023 when the European Commission launched an anti-subsidy investigation into Chinese-made EVs. It imposed tariffs in October 2024.

Trump’s new special envoy says Greenland should be part of US

Donald Trump has named Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry as his special envoy for Greenland, underscoring the US president’s determination to take control of the vast Arctic island from Denmark.

Trump said in a social media post on Sunday in the US that Landry “understands how essential Greenland is to our National Security, and will strongly advance our Country’s Interests for the Safety, Security, and Survival of our Allies, and indeed, the World”.

Jens-Frederik Nielsen, Greenland’s prime minister, said on Monday that Landry’s appointment would not change anything for the island.

“We decide our own future. Greenland is our country,” he said. “We are happy to co-operate with other countries, including the US, but it must always be done with respect for us, our values, and our wishes.’’

Trump has caused anxiety and consternation in both Greenland and in Denmark, a Nato ally, with his repeated insistence that he will take control of the frozen island of 57,000 people, including saying the US would offer to buy it.

Ministers in Greenland, a semi-autonomous territory of Denmark, and Copenhagen have consistently stated that the island is not for sale, but that both countries are keen to co-operate with Trump over security and in business opportunities such as mining.

Vivian Motzfeldt, Greenland’s foreign minister, met the new US ambassador to Denmark Ken Howery this month and said Trump’s comments had created “uncertainty”.

She told the Financial Times in October: “We know how important it is for us to have co-operation with the United States. From the beginning, we have been saying that we know our geopolitical location has a very important meaning for defence towards Europe, and also towards the United States’ security. But, of course, if you want a good, solid and trust-filled co-operation, you need to do it with respect.”

Danish officials believe Trump’s initial strategy was to browbeat Copenhagen into ceding its main Arctic territory. Trump had a fiery phone call in January with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during which he insisted Greenland would be his.

Landry said it was an honour to take the voluntary role “to make Greenland part of the US”, adding that it would not affect his position as governor of the southern US state of Louisiana.

Denmark has become more assertive in pushing back against what is meant to be its closest security ally.

Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Denmark’s foreign minister, summoned the US ambassador in Copenhagen to a meeting to protest against the appointment.

“I am deeply outraged by the appointment and comments, which I find totally unacceptable,” Rasmussen told Danish broadcaster TV2 on Monday.

Nordic foreign ministers from Finland, Norway and Sweden also offered their most publicly vocal support for Denmark and Greenland on Monday, urging the US to respect international law.

Trump has also recently named Thomas Dans, an investor and Russian expert, as head of the US Arctic Research Commission. Dans arranged a visit to Greenland for Donald Trump Jr, the US president’s son.

Trump and officials around him are interested in the idea of “hemispheric defence”, arguing that the US needs to control much of the Americas including potentially Greenland, Canada and the Panama Canal to make itself safe.

Greenland is keen to develop its economy by attracting US and other investors to industries such as tourism and mining in an attempt to become richer and able to become independent from Denmark. But Trump’s pressure has led to more co-operation between Nuuk and Copenhagen, with some Greenlanders arguing it would be best to deepen ties with Denmark.

Greenlandic politicians accept that it is impossible for the native population to defend the world’s second-largest island themselves.

They had said before Trump’s renewed efforts to take control that the US — which has significantly reduced its military presence on the island in recent decades — could expand its Pituffik space base, in Greenland’s far north, if it wanted.
I am pleased to announce that I am appointing the GREAT Governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry, as the United States Special Envoy to Greenland. Jeff understands how essential Greenland is to our National Security, and will strongly advance our Country's Interests for the Safety, Security, and Survival of our Allies, and indeed, the World. Congratulations Jeff!

Sorry but India has to show good faith to China. All their antagonism towards China has been for the West. The Henderson-Brooks report admits the 1962 war was started by India not China and that’s been the center for all their hate for claiming they were the victims of Chinese aggression. When that report was unclassified after years of keeping it secret, Indians as usual spun it to still blame China. Why would they kept it secret for all those years if it favored them?

Then you have those reports that India helped Israel be their spies in Iran so they could conduct strikes. India and Iran are suppose to be long time allies with their common enemy being Pakistan. What happened to that? After the world condemnation of the genocide in Gaza, India chose to run to Israel to be their ally supporting them. And now Israel has basically declared China an enemy of Israel.

There’s suppose to be a joke in China that it’s easy to spot American spies in places they don’t belong in China because they somehow always dress like a stereotypical American tourist trying to act inconspicuous. Now they can have Indians doing those jobs but when they get caught, India can start screaming and yelling they’re mistreating Indians in China.

It’s always suspicious when anyone claims China has to make the first moves towards better relations with India. Indian antagonism has always been about proving something to the West. They’re the ones crying how their declared enemy China is throwing road blocks to them becoming a superpower because China is somehow supposed to help them be an alternative for the world and not China. When was China obligated to do that? Is that a part of the good faith they expect China to show them? All it does is show how weak India is compared to China that they need their declared enemy’s help to help undermine China for them. Then there’s this veiled extortion that if China doesn’t, India somehow has the power to do something against China. Like what? Threaten war? They do like covering up how it’s their fault.

Like the West chest-thumps with their military against China but the fact is they haven’t carried it out because they’ll suffer even greater consequences and have more to lose. They’re just hoping on the fear of it because they do hence why they think China will submit. So it’s just an empty threat of the desperate.
In the realm of politics, self reflection and humility is India weakest point. That is seemingly why they fail time and again and also their tendency to paper over these failures only reinforces that next time they will fail even greater. I have every confidence they they are headed to failure every time they try to measure up to China. This simply isn’t going to change no matter what they do. Seriously every time I hear that woman anchor at Wion, I just know they are about to fail yet again, only a matter of when

So what? Zelensky's approval rating was about 90% at the beginning of the Ukraine War.

Talking about Zelensky and the Ukraine War, this is December 2025. But some Western MSM still insists that Russian troops are eating each other.
That twitter poster became unhinged after the Pakistan India air war earlier this year and became a vivek ramaswamy fan account in recognition of their joint grifting “profession”.

whilst we’re land grabbing the PRC should also take Australia and New Zealand as well. The Anglos cannot expect to take more continental resources without cost.

The Atlanticist Zionist mouthpiece screeches as Chinese rare earth embargo’s are biting into their ability to wage wars around the world. Without war, how else to distract the increasingly rioting peasantry and how else to maintain the reserve status of the dollar?

Trump announces new class of ‘Golden Fleet’ Navy battleships

President Trump announced on Monday a new class of battleships as part of the U.S. Navy’s “Golden Fleet.”

The president said that he approved a plan for the Navy to start construction of the two battleships, which will be equipped with guns, missiles, hypersonic weapons and high-powered lasers.

Trump trumpeted the ships as being built with “all steel” as opposed to aluminum.

Trump said the timeline of building the ships would be about two and a half years

When asked if the new class of ships is developed to counter China, Trump said they are intended to counter “everybody.”

“They’ll be the fastest, the biggest and by far, 100 times more powerful than any battleship ever built,” Trump said standing alongside Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Navy Secretary John Phelan and Secretary of State Marco Rubio at a Mar-a-Lago public appearance.

The new battleships, which will anchor the “Golden Fleet,” will weigh more than 30,000 tons, and the military is expected to have between 20 and 25 as part of the effort to bolster the U.S. Navy.

The new vessels will mark an upgrade to the Navy’s Arleigh Burke-class destroyers.

The first ship in the so-called Trump-class will be the USS Defiant, which will carry a nuclear-armed, sea-launched cruise missile, according to Phelan.

The Navy secretary said the Defiant will be the “largest, deadliest and most versatile and best looking warship anywhere on the world’s oceans.”

Back when Trump said he didn’t like stealth because it was ugly. Now one of the prerequisites is to make the ship look pretty.

Also stealing the name “USS Defiant” from the Star Trek series. To make it live up to their Star Trek name as an “overpowered vessel.” They plan to equip it with nuclear missiles and railguns. Even the art rendition of the ship shows a laser beam coming out of it.

This is not a bad idea at all actually.

A very large "battleship" with lots of hypersonic missiles, air defense missiles and lasers is a very viable modern warship and could be the future for warships. This is a very useful addition to a naval carrier strike group.

Not bad, but to deserve the "Trump" brand, it needs to be gilded.

China doesn't want to "take back south Tibet". They fully captured it in 1962 but then withdrew on their own. If they were serious about capturing that region, they would have kept it for good. China wanted to trade South Tibet for Aksai Chin.

"South Tibet" is on the other side of the Himalayas, its impractical to try to capture on control that region for China. Only Tawang maybe defensible since it falls within the mountainous Himalaya range. But rest of the region will very hard to control and supply. I don't see much benefit in China keeping it either.

I see this Border dispute as a way to keep India on their toes. China's ultimate interest is to keep India bogged down in the mountainous Border and waste resources. Keeping India busy, destablized and ultimately degraded will be the long term Chinese goal rather than fighting an actual war.
The thing is south tibet has highest precipitation in the region. China need that water for their northwestern area since there's no alternative ways to bring water there.
China only captured tawang, not entire southern tibet in 1962 which china seek to give up as there was no climate crisis china should worried at the time. Now there are new technologies that can let china control south tibet better.
