Certain things happened that made ASML depended on China. original ASML had alot of Russian/Ukranian but once Putin revitalize Russian science and Israel rose the chance for working directly for ASML became less.

To be fair i find this an extremely nice program hire the recent grads and prep them for the next up going economic tech cycle instead of seeing the talent be wasted by going into construction or how the Chinese say it letting the talent bedrot itself to zero..
Government should be the last supplier of jobs, i prefer this over universal basic income.
