Japan is not unique, it's just ahead. Demographic crisis that China is going to face shortly is going to be far more severe than Japan. And China is so large that there aren't enough countries that can even supply it enough immigrants.
CCP hasn't deployed its full power for raising births yet. It still has 3 child birth control policy. Once they start the full court on the population to start producing babies, the birth will raise significantly. Whether its propaganda to punishments, every tool in the book that was to enforce one child policy can be used to achieve the reverse.

I think China will make the offer out of general principle, and because how much that will undermine the Japanese Nazis’ narrative. Whether Japan accepts is their own decision and will speak volumes about how far gone their government is.
The demographic crisis is largely concentrated to the east specifically the coastal cosmopolitanism areas where as in the western provinces it demographics are largely stable. Plus there is good chance China population is actually way higher than reported because the demographic census were known to be unreliable so people always assume that the population account for is actually way higher than officially reported.
The problem with the Europeans is because the Russo-Ukrainian war the lost a big source of cheap energy now their industry is becoming uncompetitive, putting "Trump like" tariffs will only make things worse because the industries they have still depend on supplies from China, that is not counting on retaliation from China on raw materials and still will be useless because Chinese companies will just reroute their trade.

what do you mean? Fertility rates in Japan are way higher than China right now. In China's eastern cities, they are approaching or even lower than South Korea's rates. It's a big crisis.
