i think at this point they literally cant
the way everything is set up in america now locks them into immotility. the economics, the human capital, the infrastructure, the regulations, these are all supporting each other in a negative way to prevent any reforms. every component is now too expensive to fix -- and it's not just a matter of being fiscally too expensive to fix, but even more devastatingly, out of time to fix.
when you're a dead man walking, all you can do is cope.

Yeah, exactly. Agree completely.
And most of them never think about what can happen next.
Some do, when they say losing the tech war can impact American living standards, when that person says that, then that person knows the risks. They know what is happening.
But to the plebs, it is too abstract. How does mirco-chips, who makes them, can affect muh standard of living?
To me, a recent story is a perfect example, of a future that the United States, the people who know, want to avoid but cannot now.
It was the story this week about the average price of a new car is $50000 USD in America. That is pricey, when we know BYD can sell you a quality car for $10000 that is more advanced being electric. Biden more or less outlawed Americans from Chinese cars.
That tells us two things, in my opinion.
1. Americans are forced to pay more excessively more for inferior products.
2. People who are told they will receive the short end of the stick are second class citizens.
That is what happens when the Chinese beat the Americans to a legit and good and affordable EV.
The Southern Whites used to tell the blacks they had to sit at the back of the bus. Biden told Americans you cannot buy a good Chinese car, for whatever reasons they postulate. Back of the bus. That is the message. That message is only for second class citizen.
When they realize the US government is treating the average American like a second class citizen, the crap will hit the fan!
Unless they do something to turn it around, and get back into the game. They seem to be like going all in with the AGI.
