Kids from lower income families will likely be hit the hardest. Those children with lower income parents tends to have a higher chance of performing worst in school. The school is offering $30 price to babysit your child for the extra day they are suppose to be at school. So $120 per month or about $1440 per year and that will hurt kids from lower income families hard.

If India wants to play with China's red line, China can return the favour too. The consequences for India are very dire indeed. China had a history of messing up the US adventure in Vietnam and Korea, messing up the Vietnamese adventure in Indochina, and messing up the Soviet adventure in Afghanistan. The US, Vietnam, and the Soviets have all bled badly from their adventures against China. China today does not wish to return to doing those kinda things, but if India crosses China's red line, then anything can happen. China can do more to mess up India's Kashmir, and North-East than what India can do to mess up the SCS and Taiwan. Its up to India to cross that Red Line.

No need, once it becomes apparent to the West that Chinese century is here to stay West would focus on the next big thing it's one thing to be No.2 but being No.3? India's sheer population size is it's advantage but there is enough tension inside india that can be exploited to split India to multiple pieces and negate it and since India is busy trying to find out more creative ways to kiss West's buttocks and not doing any industrial policy or developing counter-intelligence against west thinking they are just temporary embarassed Westerners it would be a walk in the park for CIA and the likes, China just needs to be patient that's all.

School is a bit overrated. Probably the real skill you learn from school is just discipline.

However, there are few ways better than school when it comes to teaching discipline to a broad and diverse group of kids.

To be smart you don't need anything except discipline. But being smart is not the same as being successful, which is something I think people conflate when it comes to careers. A lot of people who are successful simply are because of nepotism. The rich, as a group, are of course "better performing" in life, but that doesn't mean they are more disciplined and therefore more capable.

I have a few friends and acquaintances who are either professors or lower level teachers, and all of them would choose different professions if they had to start over today because of the current hostile working environment.

Many kids in these states would end up being child slave labors much earlier as their parents aren't going to pay for babysitting. Missouri just passed a new child labor laws that allowed kids to work in much later hours and more hazardous occupations.

There are people that don't need schools to become very successful but not everyone can be street smart and learn to be discipline in other means. Better education for average people mean better jobs prosper and less likely to involve in violent crimes. Schools and better education open more doors for kids and give them more opportunities to thrive.

This type of social Darwinist educational system will also prepare them for the real world which has a similar economic and social structure. Students will be well prepared for the world of 21st century Industry 4.0 work with high paying jobs such as app driver and food delivery. America is once again ahead of its time.

The real expectations of Saudis will be not be published. Thats not how Saudi state works and there interests well hidden from most of Muslim or rest of the world.
did you paid attention one time Saudi royal loan Aircraft to former Pakistan PM to go to New York and the aircraft have technical fault in return Journey and he was offloaded in New York. Do you really think that aircraft has technical fault? or some thing revealed to Saudi they did not like it.
look at this convoy in Dubai. Apart from Dubai police. there are Black Cadillac SUVs. that is real protection.

What offer? According to the conditions, KSA gets essentially nothing and USA gets essentially everything. This isn't a deal, this is a list of imperial mandates to be enforced at gunpoint. Isn't KSA already accepting yuan? China should not allow them to renege. USA will verbally tell KSA they accept a Palestinian state and then do nothing to provide this outcome (or secretly prevent it behind the scenes). AKA a giant con. Their civilian nuclear tech is also already backwards to boot, so who are they to sell it to KSA? The only way this deal makes sense is if "civilian nuclear tech" is code word for giving them their own nuclear weapons capability.
