If the US was really willing to offer Palestinian independence from Israel, I’d take the deal too if I were Saudi Arabia. After all, the conditions the US is requesting can always be revoked later; but a Palestinian state cannot be without an invasion, which in this day and age Israel cannot afford to do without starting a huge war in the Middle East. It’s like trading temporary losses for long term gains.

Temporary Losses for long term gains? Like what exactly? You know as well as everyone else that the US would never fulfill their promise of making Palestine independent. This is just the same old carrot on a stick trick they used with the prime example being Russia. Then whenever the Republicans take power. The deal will be ripped up or put on cold ice for 4-8 years which will repeat forever. Saudi Arabia would be an absolute fool to agree to this deal.

Iran saying the embassy is open. Saudis haven’t said anything yet.

Saudi embassy resumes operations in Iran after seven years, state media reports

Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Tehran has resumed operations, state media in Iran reported Wednesday, following a thaw in ties seven years after the mission was closed.

Shiite-dominated Iran and Sunni Muslim Saudi Arabia agreed to resume diplomatic relations and reopen their respective embassies following a China-brokered deal announced in March.

The long-time regional rivals severed ties in 2016 after Saudi diplomatic missions in Iran were attacked during protests over Riyadh’s execution of Shiite cleric Nimr al-Nimr.

“The embassy of Saudi Arabia in the Islamic Republic of Iran has officially commenced its activities” and has been operating since Sunday, the official news agency IRNA said, quoting an “informed source” at Iran’s foreign ministry.

There has been no official confirmation from Riyadh on the move.

It's just Saudi trolling US by giving them requests that US won't be able to meet. Israel is way too important for US.

I forgot that the previous comment was saying the Saudis were offering this condition. Thought that the US was offering this instead however I wouldn’t entirely put it past that the US won’t just accept it and proceed to do nothing. Like the grain deal promising they would reconnect Russia to SWIFT for about a year.

Poland to send up to 10,000 soldiers to border with Belarus

Poland has expressed concerns about the border area since hundreds of Russia’s Wagner mercenaries arrived in Belarus last month.

Poland is planning to move up to 10,000 additional troops to the border with Belarus to support the border guard force, according to Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak.

“About 10,000 soldiers will be on the border, of which 4,000 will directly support the Border Guard and 6,000 will be in the reserve,” the minister said in an interview for public radio on Thursday.

“We move the army closer to the border with Belarus to scare away the aggressor so that it does not dare to attack us,” Blaszczak said.

Deputy Interior Minister Maciej Wasik said on Wednesday that Poland would send 2,000 additional troops to its frontier with Belarus.

Poland has worried increasingly about the border area since hundreds of battle-hardened Wagner mercenaries arrived in Belarus last month at the invitation of President Alexander Lukashenko.

Less education, more dumb kids, is a recipe for disaster. Maybe this is religious fanatics and greedy billionaires wanted for America.

Hot take but I don't think this will change anything. The kids who put in the effort to succeed right now will study by themselves to make up for the class time loss. The kids who are already failing likely use their class time inefficiently and will only be marginally affected by the reduction in class time.

Democracy is about choice; drop them halfway between Japan and the US, that way they can choose where they want to swim towards.

The rest of the BRICS, especially Russia, better pull their heads in and recognise India for the enemy that it is, and as the perennial slave to the anglos that they are.
The contents of the article says it all: India is waiting for the US to take the lead on intervening in a cross-strait conflict. India wants to assist the US's supply chain in the Indian Ocean. Maybe India hopes that the US and friends deliver a blow on China from the East, then India will deal a backstabbing blow from the West.

This is the most cowardly strategy for an aspiring Supapowah. It is just so typically Indian. India should just man-up right now and stop pretending with its One China Policy. Stop hiding behind Uncle Sam's and Russia's skirt. Give the China no more doubts and hesitation, that India should be taught a lesson right away.

If India wants to play with China's red line, China can return the favour too. The consequences for India are very dire indeed. China had a history of messing up the US adventure in Vietnam and Korea, messing up the Vietnamese adventure in Indochina, and messing up the Soviet adventure in Afghanistan. The US, Vietnam, and the Soviets have all bled badly from their adventures against China. China today does not wish to return to doing those kinda things, but if India crosses China's red line, then anything can happen. China can do more to mess up India's Kashmir, and North-East than what India can do to mess up the SCS and Taiwan.

It is not about those brightest and dumbest kids. This is about average kids and average level of education for the general education. If there were no difference, why those kids from wealthy family with best education resources outperform those poor kids with limited resources.
