"another adventure like Ukraine", you know, military things Americans do, like in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. Stuff that cost them a lot of money and attention.
Maybe they might just be stupid and crazy enough to invade Mexico to stop the cartels. Didn't they recently find some "good stuff" in the white house? It's the cartel's fault I'm sure Biden will say.

Yellen just came cap in hand to China for $850bln, there’s no way for america to continue without forcing its vassals to pay for the Anglo empire the same way the Spanish empire drained Latin America of gold and silver and still lost its empire.

I hope China told Yellen to take a hike.

Tbh, I'm a little worried for Chinese people once common prosperity is reached and poverty becomes a distant past. How do you avoid raising weak-minded and entitled future generations?

There's really nothing anyone can do about it. Good times create soft people. Soft people create hard times. Hard times create hard people which in turn create good times. It's a never ending cycle.

Return the favor and turn it into another Cold War? Let them cooperate if they want to.

IMO, we're already in another Cold War. It doesn't have to follow the previous one exactly in the same manner.

Still amused at how the LGBTQQIP2SA movement has somehow gotten dragged into geopolitics.

It's the only thing "The West" have in their toolbox to wage war against their adversaries.

that will be a good plan but might take to long and what do you mean by "another adventure like Ukraine"

Another military adventure. North Korea and Taiwan are the most obvious choices.

i dont think China should do anything with Taiwan yet, doing something with North Korea might work but also lead to more sactions and more asian countries working harder against China

What should China do to make sure the US in the indo pafic cannot be an issue and prevent a changlle to China? it seems like the US wants to more and more make sure China cannot peacefully do reunifaction with Taiwan and to contatin China and to prevent our growth. so what do you think China should do in response and if this is an issue for my motherland. we cannot let the US and its allies contatin or stop us from being a thriving country so they can make us end up like Japan. sorry for my long speech, i am just worried about the future of my country and what China should do to make sure it does not have an affect.

Two things come to mind.

Okay, these two things, are not what some corporation with their corporate culture call action points or two items on the meeting agenda.

Maybe we can call it theory and practice? Hell, I don't know. Here are the two things to keep in mind.

1. Know the opponent, as what Sun Tzu said. Here in this case, even though the opponent is strong, the opponent is not that strong that it can do everything by itself, it needs helpers. Those helpers are the weak points. The helpers are not reliable.

2. The situation is not static, the situation is very fluid. What is meant here, is this is not some glorious build up leading to some epic battle! A lot can change when we try to move from here to there. Or as we move from the present into the future.

For example, China and Philippines having some difficulties when Marcos Jr is leader.

About two months ago China blocked a Philippines re-supply run, and they were not happy with the Philippines complaining to their treaty ally the United States.

Last month the US Secretary of Defense made a visit to the Philippines vowing to help the Philippines.

Just a couple of weeks ago, the China Coast Guard blocked again another Philippines re-supply run. The Philippines again showed the photo of the incident. A clear attempt solicit support from its treaty ally.

All the United States did was issue a statement of support, while Yellen was in China.

Kind of funny.

In short, what I am trying to say, is that from these actions, China attempts to move pieces on the chess board to its favour.

How gung-ho will the Philippines be for a Taiwan war, when the United States does not bother with their concerns with China?

This kind of Chinese pressure or influence, via military or economic, or China Coast Guard, will have it affects over time.

Play it well, then one day it can achieve a breakthrough, such as the mutual diplomatic gains in West Asia and China.

So, a lot can happen to change things.

In my mind, the biggest thing right now, is that war in Europe.

I believe TK3600 was referring to the United States and not China. The US is already pining for the another round of chaos elsewhere in the World. Since China is officially now their main adversary, NK, Taiwan and possibly SEA is likely to receive some good old fashion American "Freedom". In any case, I agree that China should wait as long as possible before using the Big Stick on Taiwan.

people getting addicited to that drug is one of the reasons for the high ammount of homelessness in the US and that the US seems to care about other countries more then they care about their own people.
That's certainly true. All the more reason to continue poisoning their populace and crippling their national strength if it means nothing will come of it.
