Where is America the hegemon? Not economically, and defintely not industrially. What about in resources? Not really that either. You can make a fair argument about military, but the fact is, China has never invested in military much, and nukes render conventional total victory impossible against the most relevant actors. Its called the hegemon facing off a rising superpower. History is full of such cases and their outcomes
America is yet to become a hegemon. They might want to, but if they can't even be largest economy, that is just a faraway dream.
What you're seeing is an arrogant expanding power (America) thinking it can take on the world and win.
And Hitler's "new order" dictated a new balance of power over all of Eurasia. The Wolfowitz Doctrine does not even allow for a regional power to emerge such that it challenges the US in any region.
All delusion without the hard power to back it up.
Current America is in recession despite China being greatly distracted from dealing with them due to covid, is losing a proxy war against China's proxy without China even needing to invest much in that, and can't muster the military balls to conquer a tiny Chinese island half the size of the Donbass, despite having verbally threatened to do so for decades.
The dream of an American new world order has never been so far away as in 2023.
