I think many people of ethnic Chinese in Indo would vehemently disagree with you.

His point was that Chinese Indonesians despite having lived in Indonesia since the days of the Dutch and succeeding in business were still seen as outsiders and subjected to violent persecution.

A UK MP goes to Afghanistan, makes a video saying things are actually pretty great, corruption lower, security better, solar panels replacing opium fields. He say UK should re-engage with Afghanistan.

Anyway, he's forced to apologize and delete the video:

You can call me an obsolete old timer, but funny crap like this did not happen in the old days.

It would happen in the movies, where some character got something on another more important character having a higher social status and make him do his bidding.

This is what happened here. In fact, no one gave a hoot about Afghanistan back then, and certainly not now. Who cares if he made this video?

Someone got bothered by that. Someone told him to delete.

Beware, the man behind the curtains.

Like, for real!

This is an example of how some of America's public school system tries to whitewash US history. Those who receive education in the West and only have access to Western media are thoroughly brainwashed, such as those second generation Chinese-Americans. It's not surprising that their opinion about China is not better than the average Westerners'.

The problem with India:

Unlike India, China plans ahead and works hard toward their goals. China's success is not really a mystery.

There was a reverse brain-drain from Europe to China in the past 20 years. Hopefully it will continue and accelerate.

Whitehouse is getting a bit upset now at all the attention Kissinger is getting.
Damn, for all the times "too pretty to eat" gets thrown around, this is one case where that 100% applies and then some. (Assuming that's all edible)
