Iraqi officials did not notify their US counterparts before reaching the recent deal to barter oil for natural gas with Iran, the Associated Press reported on 16 July, in a test of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani’s independence from Washington.

The oil-and-gas deal signed this week will send 250,000 barrels of crude oil to Iran per day in exchange for Iranian natural gas, which Iraq depends on for some 40 percent of its electricity production.

Just like Russia, the UAE might just pull out at the last minute when its own financial experts take a good look at the rupees. The UAE is gonna wonder soon, what to buy with all that accumulated rupees. Its gonna find out that what India can offer in return is nothing near of comparable value to UAE oil and gas. And then, all that excess rupees can't be used to buy stuff from the rest of the world. Because everybody else too, don't have much to buy from India.

The UAE could pay its Indian workforce with rupees. But would they want to accept rupees instead of Dirham? The rupees is not exactly the strongest currency in the world. It could defeat the purpose of some Indians going to the UAE to work. So that's up for debate.

Not really Russia is an exception not the norm it's one of the largest food and energy producer in the world and has every mineral known to man within its borders not to mention their industries that are only behind West and China most countries don't have that kind of luxury, UAE already imports lots agricultural and textiles products from India.

Just as the US dares not touch Russia or China directly, Russia and China may use third parties and other elements to spark strife in the US homeland, e.g. political polarization and the ensuing mistrust, economic imbalances, drug trade.

These are only the "elements" part; if and when third parties become involved things will start getting serious. As in "beautiful sight x 20" serious.

At that point, it will be hilarious if Russia and/or China start importing small arms into Mexico to support 'freedom fighters' in the US.

With the recent Leopard KO's and other debacles (Bradley IFV I am looking at you), the image of NATO equipment invulnerability has been shattered.

With the ongoing economic degradation through deindustrialization (gradual but accelerating process), the perception of NATO's ability to put up a fight will be shattered, especially so when the US needs to help itself first and leaves its NATO partners in economic ruins.
Ground equipment and well trained infantry is all for nought against minefields and pre-sighted artillery. But NATO's strength lies in its air power, which no country outside the bloc is able to match.

I dont see anywhere Russia pull out from Indian market. how do you think Russia is paid for its firms doing extraction in Iraq?. different payment and barter options are done but it does not mean one or another is mutually exclusive. and i pretty sure some Arab intermediatories are involved.
In this hot weather in Mideast there are more than 700 flights per week between UAE and Russia and will increase to 1000 per week and these are mostly 5 to 7 hours each. do you think they are doing personal shopping?. and these are in in addition to CIS and Mideast indirection connections that touch Russia.

“We have more than 700 flights a week to the UAE. There is no such scale to Egypt. And now the hottest months in the United Arab Emirates are not in season. And starting from October, we are waiting for a thousand flights a week.

you are mistaken about Airpower. The recent Mideast conflicts were from two or three giant airbases. The Prince Sultan Airbase cost was some $15b price 30 years ago. It is not a distributed airpower. That create alot of vulnerability when cruise missiles and drones have long ranges now. Russia is using widely dispersed bases to reduce risk and present low altitude flgiht surprise. Low altitude flying reduce range.

Not over core American territory, but fortunately, NATO is not an alliance of defense and neither will US win by sitting around defending itself.

It needs an upset win in an offensive war in order to reverse the economical and industrial situation.

Far away from dispersed basing and competent IADS, forced into a war of assault against well prepared defenders, they simply don't have the numbers or equipment sophistication to win, even if their numbers would be impressive in a pure 1v1 that disregards terrain.

Pfluger says the ongoing crisis of migrants and drugs up through the continent and into the U.S. is related to Chinese influence in the region.

"If the Chinese Communist Party can get a foothold in those countries, then think about the increases in narcotic trafficking and human trafficking that would exist," he said.

He also said there are signs of an increase in specific routes set up by trafficking organizations to fly from China into South America and

"We have seen Chinese high-value targets in my district that have been arrested and apprehended in the last couple of years, and the uptick has increased sharply. And so the malign activity, if they get influence in these countries, will continue to increase in a lot of other areas," he said.

"We know that the Chinese Communist Party wants to undermine the United States in any and all areas that they possibly can. And it starts by gaining a foothold with partners. And, you know, maybe it starts economically and it doesn't look like it's that serious. But we know it's serious because we've seen it all throughout the world."

Mushroom diplomacy: US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen sets off culinary craze in China

“However, scientists have not, as of yet, identified the compounds responsible for causing the hallucinations. It remains a bit of a mystery, and most evidence is anecdotal. I have a friend who mistakenly ate them and hallucinated for three days.”
Three days hun ;) Is this the America's new way of taking back Yellen's crazy demands to China? Gotta give it to them, it is creative.
