EU trips cancelled, the singing continue at home. He might be the origin of this 'we love the Chinese people, we only hate CCP', same goes with Iranian people.
As with the CCP and the Chinese people, we have to keep making a distinction between the radical Islamist Iranian regime and the people of Iran. The Iranian people didn't elect their tormentors. They deserve so much better.

I think the cancellation has to do with the chaos at home as much as the thinly veiled threats from China. At this point the Trump regime simply doesn't have any real power. Does anyone remember how Trump wanted to remove Alibaba and Tencent from NYSE? I wonder how that is working out. The social media ban on Trump makes the Huawei ban look like a joke.

Be careful siege. If the armed protests do go through, you live near the state capital of Texas which will be full of white supremacists.

If you've done research then you'd know that Austin is a very liberal city. We are the crease in the Bible Belt.

CCP did not kicked out Google. Google choose to leave China because it refused to comply with Chinese laws. It turned out, it's the best outcome for both China and Google. Both sides maintained their principles. China is more than happy to maintain the status quo. Not sure about Google.

Google still has office(s) in mainland China. I think they even have software engineer positions there.
