Absurd yes, Taiwanese have rose up but it is always against the Japanese invasion and occupation while actual Taiwanese aboriginals(not the fakeass wannabe colonials) rose up against the Japs far more frequently. No, it's making China's growth wholesome and getting China ready to fight. Before the tech war, many of China's technologies stood on the shoulders of foreign basic science. Take that away and it's back to the drawing board for China. After this, Chinese tech will be Chinese from the ground up, impervious to sanction, completely controlled in Chinese hands. America provided excellent training for China toughening it up for conflict while if they were smarter, they could have held all of it back, reserved for war to give China too much to handle at once.
