The US had become cheap, $150 million for 10 members ASEAN state and now $300 million for the 23 members attending the Summit of America's. I think $15 million threshold is the maximum the US can give per country and they should be grateful, Mexico maybe regretting its action now after all it's still a US dollar...lol

You will have more luck getting countries to be on your side what kind of money by just directly transferring it to their leader's personal bank account.
Cut us some slack please... The people here are mostly literate in only one language so they have very little protection or alternative from the wave after wave of Western propaganda. Also the government actually has to worry about colour revolutions alot because the whole place is crawling with Western "NGOs" and "MNCs". Also there is a sizeable group of people who have been deceived by the Sinophobic intellectuals into thinking that they have to distance themselves from China to keep the ethnic minorities happy. When China's GDP per capita and military spending catches up to the US, everybody will move accordingly. This is not Taiwan where they are paranoid about getting a cultural revolution dropped on them from across the strait.
@ACuriousPLAFan bro I see more and more of these, the lost of America's prestige, plus it came from small countries, voiceless nation that now have the courage to speak. Over use of threats are back firing, during the Trump year there are grudgingly acceptance as the US are not hamstrung BUT now with Ukraine War with the US dithering on many fronts , the American are being inundated and can't respond effectively. And the timing , China in the Pacific Island, Iran making its move and now this and of course NK, SK and the US firing missile toward Japan....lol

It would have been more factually accurate to flip the scales in terms of the size of the money bag(s) paid and the amount of arms received in return since Taiwan has always paid way above market rates for US arms.
