Agreed. Germany is completely different from Lithuania. In the grand scheme of things, Lithuana doesn't matter. If China really wanted to, it could play stupid infantile games too i.e. if Lithuania doesn't recognize Chinese sovereignty, China shouldn't recognize its sovereignty as a country and pretend it's still part of Russia. In doing so, redraw its European maps and remove its diplomats so that every communication with China must go through Russia instead (as if it is a province of Russia) and it will be an arrangement that will intrigue and please Putin too.Even if the Green Party wins a major victory nothing fundamental will change. Chances of them pulling a Lithuania is around zero since unlike Lithuania, Germany has substantial business interests in China. Worst case scenario would be banning of Huawei plus tariffs against Chinese products (heavy machinery) that compete with similar Germany products.
