But yeah Iran cannot even keep its own nuclear scientists from getting assasinated repeatedly, its top generals getting drone striked and its facilities getting breached by likes of CIA nonbiological viruses like stuxnet and nuclear power plants mysteriously catching on fire...

I have my doubt. As China seems to abandon the idea that Biden is less confrontational and moderate than Trump, maybe China would prefer not to further escalate the situation but it isn't up to China.
These students can stay in Australia forever. As for their parents, they should be scrutinized for having such children especially if they are employed by the government or state firms. AFAIK, most teachers and professors in the West would say bad things about China and Chinese and get away with it. It is just that nowsaday there are more Chinese students and some of them would speak up against such racism and prejudice.

The so-called academic freedom is a one way 'freedom'. As long as it is projection of the Western narrative on China then it is considered fair-go. When the Western narrative is challenged, they will cry at Chinese attempt to undermine them. But they better get use to the fact that China is not lying low, but is providing credible Chinese narrative and also clearing through the debris of Western lies and misconceptions.

It’s incredible… I mean well no shit the camera is Chinese made… what generally available electronics/electronic compounds either isn’t made in China or contains made in China parts nowadays… so if some asshole went to the local Maplin to get parts to built the secret cam, which inevitably will contain Chinese parts… then by this logic… the cam must be Chinese made but deliberately made to look like it isn’t…
This article’s author is working extra hard to not understand the most basic concept of something known as consumer electronics and global supply chain… whereby a thing can be made somewhere, then shipped and bought by anyone locally to do the damn job…
Also more importantly, IF this is China gov’s doing then the UK and their press especially should be sending a letter of thanks for the spy’s hard work in exposing this health secretary playing tongue hockey while on the clock spending taxpayer’s money!
