Well well. I will eat my hat and admit my mistake on joking for how Russia didnt actually fire a shot. Glad to be proven wrong.
The newly released video from Russia seems ok to me.
They should ban all of them just to be safe.
I've been saying for some time that as China advances and becomes more free, the west will become more authoritarian to keep up.
The latest from the UK:
Children will be forced to sing a song praising the nation.
That's right, there was no need for this during two world wars, but now there is apparently.
"As well as singing the song, pupils across the UK are being asked to clap for one minute to celebrate those people who helped during the coronavirus pandemic.
Schools are also being encouraged to dress children in red, white and blue for the day too."
Clapping for healthcare workers is just another way for the government to get people to support them.
Sounds like something you would expect to hear in North Korea, not a "democracy".

One of these days, one might want to see Russia and China conduct coordinated operations to break an arm and a leg of these Anglo vassals, say UK in Black Sea and Aussie in South China Sea, if they continue to conduct these provocative activities in the territorial waters of the respective countries. That should send a strong signal to the world, or rather vassals of the world.
Right now, it's been pretty much a one-man show in SCS, with the vassals occasionally taking very low-profile, less provocative borderline activities. Aussie has been doing a lot of trash talk lately, but hasn't translated them into real actions. I doubt UK or other vassals would do the same thing in Black Sea against Russia again any time soon, now that Russia has acted vey strongly and give them stern warning.
All these western or pseudo-western vassals will scatter away and lie low if their big boss is greatly weakened.

Whie I agree with the sentiment, it is not as simple as you said
Why would China make military exercises in EU's backyard? Yes I know, double standards, hypocrisy, they do SCS patrols why cant China do the same etc
But is China actually losing something from these useless EU actions?
However the moment that the PLA starts showing up in EU's door you will give them a gift. By having a "threat" so close to them you will energise them on federalizing and becoming a super-state (gradual process)
Better for China to leave EU alone on the military front. However China can (and it should) apply economic pressure on the EU to eventually stop their pathetic SCS exercises
