Russian is the 2nd most spoken language in Israel. Lot of Israelis (and Jews in America) migrated from former Russian lands. Lot of current Russian elite are Jewish. And, many (if not most of the) Bolshevik leaders were Jewish. Current prime minister of Russia, and most likely candidate of succession to Putin - Mikhail Mishustin - is also Jewish. Russia's involvement in Israel is very deep rooted.

Keep in mind even people like Netanyahu for example, his parents were born in the Russian empire.

In my view, Takashi's JIBA campaign has fully absorbed Trump's MAGA strategy.

Japan's youth are like the MAGA movement in 2016, neither understand nor care about how politics works. The chaotic reality has jolted them from long-term political apathy, and intuition (rather than experience) tells them they need a political leader who can “make a ruckus.” Don't overestimate Japan's political education. Middle-aged and elderly people in society still cling to a shocking naivety and self-deception about international politics, let alone the youth raised in the Reiwa era.

The LDP's propaganda is overwhelming. Takashi's campaign video quickly reached 100 million views on YouTube, clearly the result of paid promotion. But regardless, some will always believe in herd mentality, especially in Japan. Some of Takagi's statements and actions, which seem inexplicable to outsiders, have been amplified through social media and opinion leaders' dog whistles to their audiences. Interviews already show Japanese youth (especially women) engaging with political issues for the first time, idolizing Takagi like a celebrity. I see no other party possessing the capacity to counter this level of mobilization.
It is just reflective of a general far right revolt against the status quo international order, which is taking place all over the world. The swing to nationalism and militarism was always predictable, for two reasons: economically, market liberalism results in an ever escalating concentration of wealth, class tension & resentment; while socially, liberalism is fundamentally divisive and also tends to be self-destructive with its opposition to merit and family values.

The seeming solution to these two problems? It's nationalism and socialism, or "national socialism," or just fascism, in short. Fascism promises to unite the nation (via "purification") and to bring wealth into the service of the nation, rather than the elites. So in theory, it is the logical answer to the problems identified above, and it's what far right politicians promises to their supporters.

But in reality, fascism has never been a great solution. None of the fascist states were truly self-supporting - they all had to turn to war and conquest in order to sustain themselves; first against internal enemies, and then against external enemies.

This is because fascism is principally founded upon resentment - it rallies the losers of society through telling them it's not their fault - it's the traitors and the foreigners - and builds momentum through directing and channeling this hate. So you end up with a society that constantly needs enemies (hence the need for war), and where people aren't judged by merit or achievement, but by their ability to blame their own deficiencies on others.

Such a society is not fundamentally competitive, in the long run, and so must necessarily burn itself out in war.

On the topic of Japan looks like TSMC is planning to produce some chips in Japan.

TSMC Japan plan for advanced chips seen as hedge against pressure from US, China

At this point i feel like Taiwan is becoming more and more irrelevant because of the fact that TSMC is allowed to build manufacturing elsewhere, this also wasn't part of any trade deal.

i hope the opposition parties will do a little bit more then sit around and do nothing.

Ironically, the only way Taiwan will be protected is that if the KMT makes a deal with the CCP.

That is what re-unification means, a deal.

Right now, there is no deal, there is only hollowing out of what is still valuable inside Taiwan.

Got to wonder if there is a window of time to all of this? If there is, then how long?

You'd think a German would know better than to knock China's Unicorns for individually not being as high value as American ones. His own country Germany has less Fortune 500 companies than even France or for that matter now Japan, but still manages to have a bigger economy than both due to its dominance in advanced manufactering shouldered by its army of mid-sized firms. China's advantage to compensate for its lack of VC funding compared to American firms has always been to deploy at scale.
Chill buddy. The dude‘s business is to promote China. Check out his youtube channel.

I highly suspect this is US running their media programs to get taikachi elected, just like bolsonaro and Mellie. Btw the deal Mellei signed with trump was so uneven.

I'm genuinely surprised no other country is pushing back as much as chaina and even Canada for crying out loud. US vassels surrendered so quickly and then. The smaller countries had to surrender.

Right now it seems like a lot more counties have zero tariff on US products but still tariffs on china. That would give US manufacturers an advantage. Eg. Argentina had 22% and Mexico jasn30% tariff on China but zero on the US.

So technically US can take machina sales away form China in Argentina. And US offered to give zero tariffs to Argentina minerals, minerals that they already needed . They all these countries that got hit by trump are now joining the critical minerals cabel run by the states
Why would they do that when they have already been threatened

Since the majority of the Japanese youths are such staunch supporters of Sanae Takaichi, I have no problem feeding them all to the PLA meat grinder, Ukraine style.

Funnily enough, Sanae Takaichi will have no problem feeding them all to the PLA meat grinder either. See, there’s something you agree on!

Also, I wish China and the Russians would be more powerful on the media space. There should be a campaign to sanction Venezuelan oil stolen for sale by the US. There should be someone who calls out that the should not buy venuzualan oil to enrich trump?

There are the media blitz, the end less interviews and documentaries asking of this question to countries planning to buy them....

This is where the media space is poswerful. I hope China works on that strongly, after they achieve all the hard power states
