Since when was Ningbo part of Shanghai? I mean I guess since Jiang Jieshi base was largely in Shanghai aka a foreign runned aparthied city state where the wealth of China was concentrated. But yeah He lost the Civil war because he was so fucking useless and backstabber that much of NRA specifically the Northwestern Armies had enough of his shit and joined the CCP.
No time is worth on that nonsense? All it deserves is a reply of “娘西匹” on X.

This probably explains why the vietnamese communist party has appear to gotten closer with China and invited the PLA for it's parade. Allege reports is that they are concern that the US might arrive by sea again. They have also smashed associations that might be used for color revolution

It's good to know that Vietnam won't be used like Ukraine against China. They have 100 million people they could have done significant damage to China if war actually happens

I guess I came to that conclusion is because 99% of the Chinese Diaspora or discussions about Chinese culture outside China is basically HKers and Cantonese people in the Diaspora "preserved" Chinese culture while the Mainland lost all traditional culture. This is not even true in the slightest because asides from the Damage from the Cultural Revolution being exaggeratted there is 0 trace of Chinese traditional culture in HK and Taiwan infact Taiwanese and HKers are a mockery of Ancient Chinese Culture as they so westernized that it's not even Chinese. Afterall it's not Vietnamese and Koreans who pushed for CNY to be called Lunar New Year but HKers and Taiwanese people. As well as the fact that the narrative of Cantonese is the last link to Ancient Chinese and Mandarian is a mongolian language is dominant despite the fact that Cantonese only preserved some sounds and that is it and Mandarian is 100% a han language and it also preserved aspects that cantonese did not, specifically the grammer. Since Malaysians Chinese are associetated it gave me the impression that they're no different and for that I am wrong.
I feel the people who say this are usually
1. Local born Chinese (in Canada/USA) whose parents were from HK (or maybe Taiwan) and can't read a lick despite promulgating about "Chinese culture"
2. Never actually travelled to mainland China because "CCP are evil" or something (50/50 on travelling to HK or Taiwan)
3. Probably will talk about all of this, then unironically put on a "I AM NOT CHINESE, I AM HONGKONGER/TAIWANESE" T-Shirt.

To nobody's surprise, the 56-inch chest Super PM Modi has yet again capitulated to Trump.

Jai Hind!
How the Indians are going to compensate for the lost of Russian oil imports. Iran is out the question and Venezuela oil production is just a fraction of Russia and their is even more expensive. They have a shrinking pool of suppliers that will charge more for an essential good for the India economy.

It‘s the right thing to do. They are focusing on their economy and losing US market costs them a lot. They are at a weaker position so it makes sense to keep their head down and improve themselves.

I saw in Skyscrapercity that funding for Urban Local Bodies in India has gone up. I hope that starts to fix their horrendous cities which IMO massively contribute to their abysmal standards of living and reputation.

but there‘s no sign of municipal reforms which means that the dysfunctional of nature of management would remain.

Also one overlooked aspect of India is their north/south divide. Their southern states are pretty much carrying their economy while all the bad stereotypes come from the north. Tamil Nadu for example has a GDP per capita of over $5000 and boasts a GDP growth over 10% last year. India ought to pay more respect to the South and learn from them but what‘s happening is the other way around with northerners being smug and pushing their culture/language onto southerners.

Redditors saying Vietnam is natural US ally and US best buddies against China now in shambles.

How did we go from Vietnam against China invasion of SCS, to now Vietnam welcoming China HSR and Vietnam preparing for US coup/invasion?
There is a substantial portion of the population of Vietnamese that is still very pro U.S, and would welcome CIA, MI6 or Mossad in their country to help topple the current government. It also does not help that many of the top communist leaders see the U.S in such a positive light, as this also undermines their own party's legitimacy in the eyes of the people indirectly and subconsciously. I speak fluent Vietnamese, and upon speaking to many of them coming to the United States, in record numbers, either under work visas or school visas, they are very pro U.S despite living under a communist regime--many often tell me the corruption and injustices by their Communist party are a burden to their life expectations and aspirations--therefore, work to get entrance to the U.S. In fact, many upon coming to the U.S often tell me they have no problem if the U.S topples their government; something they can not say back in Vietnam. If I were the CIA, I would start seriously recruiting many of them and use them to infiltrate the Vietnamese government, because it is literally a free "give me" for the U.S intelligence services, as Vietnam is an even easier target than Iran for the U.S to create mass insurrection.

The power of white worship in East Asian countries shows again. If there is any kind of economic downturn that leads to protest, you bet these Vietnamese would be equally as pro -US and demanding that US bombs their own country as the Iranians are doing now.
