1. Hilarious that he pretends like the UK would actually have some role in "combating the threat from China". Even if the UK had real intentions on intervening in Asia, it really should be China who is asking why a country multiple oceans away is calling it a "threat".

2. Without a doubt, if his party were in power, he'd likely make the same cuts to save money and probably cite that China is too far away to be a threat...

What is a back door? Code in software, hardware or firmware that gives remote access to unauthorized parties.

How do remote parties connect to your backdoor’s when these servers that don’t have access to the open internet?


The most plausible scenario is the one @Phead128 described - some type of logic bomb where specially crafted training data or driver update instructs the GPU to perform bad calculations or premature failures.

So yes, there could be something bad and hidden in the GPU servers, but calling them a backdoor isn’t the right technical term

Whatever drones Anduril manages to produce in their factories, they won't be able to compete with what China can offer in quantity, quality, affordability, or functionality, if civilian drones such as those from DJI are of any indication. However, this is not the point. The point is how to use such production lines to siphon off taxpayer's money to line the pockets of those techno-oligarchies.
