All PLAAF needs to do is deny air superiority and China would win because NATO tactics rely on Air superiorty and if it's denied then their forces are pretty much useless. We have seen this in Ukraine.

They wouldn't have bought the pretty expensive Dassault Rafale, instead they would have used their own jets if they thought that was just hot air. India knew the J10 was a big leap forward against anything domestic they have and they bought Rafaeles Jets thinking because it is "Western tech" against "Chinese tech" will give India air superiority over the Pakistanis and they were wrong. PL-15 doesn't fire itself alone. Is a technological tech stack combination between the fighter jet and the Missile for effectiveness.
