sorry but i think thats a dangerously reductionist view thats more informed by your own wishes than reality. you're laughing at the clowns and their antics. but beyond the clowns is the entire business operation of the circus. these clowns may fall, they may get wet, they will light themselves on fire, but it does not injure the circus. it only brings in more money. for the circus behind all the antics.
