There's too much focus on choosing between A or B. It should be more like the city once was a colony but it's no longer one. Instead it used what it learnt during hard times to become something far greater than it's previous self could ever imagine. That's what I believe is true victory.

And Europeans can go yeah but we were there first. But I realized these words mean less these days coz their places are going downhill. If they were so ingenious, they could figure out a way to save their own countries instead of claiming credit for some places thousands of miles away decades later.

The whole purpose of the past is to learn from it to apply to the decisions you make today. If you're just using it to wewuz about your has been self, that's not really using it effectively.

Nexperia is a third rate MOSFET maker that one can replace easily with other suppliers, the problem is
1. Other suppliers already sold their chips and dont have enough capacity to replace Nexperia's volume outside China
2. Other suppliers are also Chinese

That is to say, only Chinese automakers can easily replace Nexperia, lol

Their colonial heritage DID die when they were defeated and left,but some physical remnants do remain, hopefully as bitter reminders of the pain and suffering of the past's humiliation,weakness and disunity ,not a glorification of the invaders-Macao has its Portugese influences and HK has its remnants but I do wish HK would rename all British Crown areas like Victoria Harbour ,Victoria Peak etc to an innocuous HK Harbour etc

I get what you mean. However that only actually rewrites history. The better version is to return the city to it's orignial roots and emphasize Chinese culture and idenity to the world (Shanghai being an international city does not mean Shanghai has to westernize and adopt western ideas, it means the city is welcoming but the foreigners have to understand that this is China and they have to repsect the culture) also the europeans never actually founded those cities.

Tianjin and Shanghai were already thriving port cities long before the Europeans arived and Qingdao, Dailan and even HK etc where already pre existing ports and their development into metropolises were a completly Chinese intiative. Even HK can fall into my statement as the it remained a corrupt crime ridden aparthied hell hole until the 1970s when the brits knew they would have to hand it over and it really shine as the Pearl after handover. All the Europeans did was turn those cities into corrupt, crime ridden aparthied regimes and that is the only way we should view the colonial legacy of said cities.

However the local governments for some reason rewrites it to make look like it brought their cities to a metropolises identity but this isn't true in the slightest. In the end people in the coastal regions should really stop giving credit to europeans when they never actually develop those colonies and removing them would actually close the chapter for good because it dosen't erase history it makes history.

TI doesnt make discrete / MOSFETs, nor do they have the capacity.

Its basically a no win situation for Netherlands now, because even if they undo everything, give Wingtech their shares back and CEO his position, the first thing Wingtech will do is move everything to China and shutdown European liability.

And right now China has absolutely nothing to lose from walking away, Wingtech just finished a new China wafer plant that 1 to 1 matches all existing Nexperia European wafer fab, while Europe has no packaging plant even planed. Chinese EV market is more than enough to absorb Nexperia's volume directly or indirectly, while Nexperia Europe has no ability to sell their wafers.

Lastly but not least, China has every reason and incentive to make an example out of Netherlands. IMO China should just force European automakers who doesnt want to shutdown production to switch to Chinese brands and let Nexperia Europe die.

US is in a slow death spiral now, if US try to do something drastic it will only hasten their decline. China is not the one that is killing the US, at worst China will just make the US become the No.2 of the world, not exactly a horrible place to be in.

What is killing the US is US itself, their end stage capitalism that keeps concentrating capitals transforming their once powerful industrial economy into rentier economy. As far as I can tell it is an irreversible disease, there is no cure short of a revolution, RIP I guess

History can help the Chinese people clearly understand the path they took and avoid repeating the same mistakes.
Your critics may think you're trying to erase the history of Western aggression against China. And since you're probably white, you shouldn't comment on this matter; after all, you're considered the "perpetrators."
This is like the Japanese trying to make the Chinese forget the atrocities they committed during World War II. Do you understand the logic behind this?
In short, you're not the right person to say this.

Agreed,but I would never use Chinese money/labour to upkeep/restore the old european structures let them wither /crumble away just as those old,generations that white-worship them die.-when they're gone, then rebuild them as totally Chinese once again but NEVER forget them as bitter reminders in museums/photos/books/education curriculums.We Chinese as yet are still to close to the past to fully shed ourselves of its taint but the inflection point is rapidly coming with this Trumpian trade war escalating....TW reunification will be the next overturning of the past(part of Treaty of Shimonoseki-the japs still want to keep)NO,NO,NO

sorry but i'm having difficulty understanding whats going on here. what part of this is inducing the accusation of white supremacy? this sounds like it could be as much the product of a failure in comprehension triggering an irrational response as it is an actual rebuttal of logic. actually, more likely the former because i frankly don't see the logic here.
