The US has troops stationed in Taiwan? This has violate China's red line. What will China do?

It’s just making a mountain out of a mole hill. Those are advisors and technical experts there for temporary training, and not a combat unit permanently deployed there on any official capacity. If and when the bombs fall, they will be on the first transport out, unless China makes a special point to send a few bombs and missiles their way in the opening stages.

China would have been fully aware before they were even on the ground.

This sort of thing has been going on since forever and has never been a Chinese red line. Forward deployment of fully combat capable forces in combat ready numbers would be a red line, but again, China will know about any such moves before it happens and make it clear to the Americans in no uncertain terms what pressing ahead will mean.

As I have said on many occasions, America can start a war with China over Taiwan any time it wants. That’s one the key reasons why they want to maintain the status quo and why China wants to resolve the Taiwan legacy issue as soon as possible.

America is basically just waiting for a moment of national calamity to befall China so it can jump in and try to destroy China while it is down. That’s the core essence of the reason for them to keep the Taiwan card.

South Korea seems to have decided that the time has come to make a choice, because it quickly becomes too difficult to sit on two chairs.
As the visit of Moon Jae-in (previously he was one of the most pro-Chinese and anti-American politicians in the South Korean establishment) to Washington has shown, this choice in Seoul will most likely be made in favour of Washington
S.Korea might think that because it didnt mention China that everything is ok but :

Nevertheless, the South Korean side made unexpectedly serious concessions on the issue of China.
the text of the communiqué contains a number of statements that unequivocally express support for American positions on China-related issues.
The text explicitly states the “importance of preserving peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait”, as well as “freedom of navigation and overflight in the South China Sea and beyond”.
It is clear that in the first case, support for Taiwan in its aggravated confrontation with China is expressed, and in the second case, the Chinese territorial claims in the South China Sea are condemned.
The communiqué takes more than one potshot at China. For example, it says that both parties support the “transparent and independent evaluation and analysis of the origins of the COVID-19 outbreak”. These words clearly contain a hint that the official Chinese position on the origin of coronavirus is not reliable (the Western media now touts the idea that the pandemic began with the leak of viruses from the Chinese virology laboratory in Wuhan).
Another concession from Seoul to Washington, also partly related to China, was the statement about the “fundamental importance” of trilateral US-Japan-South Korean cooperation. The first years of Moon Jae-in’s presidency were marked by frequent and violent conflicts between Japan and South Korea, which were usually initiated by Seoul
Shortly after the visit, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese ambassador to South Korea criticised the position taken by Seoul (which is somewhat unusual).
However, this benevolent attitude towards Beijing began to change noticeably in recent years, which was marked by the emergence and rapid spread of anti-Chinese sentiments in the country, which were practically absent before. [CIA doing good work here, congrats]

Reminder that "Valdai" is a major Russian think-tank which has access to Russian Gov Elites. That they are saying this it means that there is some truth in their words.

Concerning for China though. That the whole periphery of China "hates" it, it means that its policies and its agencies are not working for influencing the local pop

Failure upon failure.

Even the language in the Russian report is obvious that anything that Seoul said was as a concession to DC for fear, not their genuine desire and as they already need to be dragged on just the words, we know that actions are several thresholds higher in reluctance as they get more meaningful.

Chinese and American influence on the local population of a nation that is occupied by the US military cannot be compared; it is like saying that your neighbor has more pull over a hostage in his basement than you do.

Failure after failure for foreigners who attempt to accurately analyze China for decades now and yours as well for believing them and overreacting as always.
